Las Vegas in January

A group of us are heading to Vegas in late January 2011, from Australia. Just wanted to see whats peoples thoughts are with regard to Vegas in January. Seeing its going to be in the middle of winter, not really expected to be full on. Whats the nightlife and clubbing like in this period. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Vegas is Vegas, peak time or not, there will still be people from everywhere flooding in to party. The only thing you'll miss out on is pool party action but the nightlife will certainly be in full swing.

Great prices, small crowds, and cold weather.

I enjoy the winter months in Vegas, the crowds at night are still big, and you will surely get more sleep. The only bad thing is the fact that no pool parties are open.

I wouldn't necessarily say "small crowds", night time is still packed at the clubs.

the top tiered clubs will be HOTT... the lower ones will be buzzin.. the low tiered ones will be comfy.. but vegas will be great!! a bit windy tho..

I don't think January is THAT cold, but this is coming from where there will be snow storms and -10 windchills outside. I am happy to be in Las Vegas in January.

A few of us are coming to Vegas Jan 20-23, more than welcome to join us. And it is SO true. The accent is everything!

From what I am gathering anytime is a good time for Vegas.

We are just going to miss you, getting into Vegas on the 26th till the 31st. your going to have to hang around for a bit longer to party with some aussies haha (hey that's not a bad excuse i reckon).
