yeah you can bring a backpack with towels, ipods, cells, maybe change of clothes but thats really about it, the will search your bag and you cant bring water, food, alcohol etc. (gotta buy it there)

being from overseas ive wondered ... do bouncers only accept passports or will they accept my driver's licence. reason being is that i obviously dont want to lose my passport or get it wet so i dont want to be taking it everywhere.

Also does it matter if US dollar currency gets wet? can it still be used or does it just rip / fall to pieces? this is a serious question, where im from we have water proof plastic money :P

I think they will take your license, but it cant hurt to shoot them a call before you go. and the US currency can get wet and still be used and ususally doesnt rip HOWEVER as we stand now the dollar aint worth shit so who cares!!!!

thats exactly the trick, bring the backpack so they focus on that meanwhile your shorts are filled with flasks!

I usually carry my DL and Passport with me. I had a buddy that had his TX DL rejected and it was legit.

I've tried out:

Moorea Beach, Bare, Wet Republic and Rehab.

All of them were ok with me with my drivers license. I took my bag into everywhere except Rehab. At Rehab, I just checked it in. All I took in with me there was a camera and some money.

About US currency, I've never had problems with it getting wet. I have had problems with pickpockets and attempted pickpocketing though...

Anyone have any feedback on Ditch @ Palms and the new M Resort Pool?

I guess a US driver licence is going to have a better chance then an o/s one.. Not something I wanna get rejected for after lining up though

Admittedly, this was back in '04, but then I used my UK drivers licence all the time and never had a problem...they just looked at it closely and let me in.

Judging by the messiness of my nights taking my passport out is just asking for trouble - but on the bright side if I lost it then i'd have to stay in Vegas, so it's not all bad

I don't know how I did but I lost my passport in vegas and everybody was asking why I took my passport when I didn't leave the country. LOL I don't know it's a habit because it's the most accepted travel doc. From now on I only bring my DL. Never had a problem. Been to ditch , no problem.

What is the new M resort?

I'd suggest, if you're from outside of the US to bring your passport instead of your license. I've had so much trouble trying to get in with my driver license, but none when I've used my passport.

The M resort is a fairly new property but if i remember correctly it's not on the strip. i think it's like 15 minutes away from the strip. please correct me if im wrong. it looks very appealing though.

The M is awesome!! Its right at the Henderson exit. I saw it after if first opened so I haven't been able to enjoy the pool or Daydream yet but I really like this hotel. Everything is new, doesn't smell like smoke (like the other casinos/hotels), its not that big, the layout is great, free beverage bar inside the casino (water, soda, tea), hidden wine bar, beautiful looking spa, amazing lounge up on the 16 (or 17) floor w/ good sushi, etc. I absolutely love the way the pool is designed. I plan on stopping there on the way in or out this wknd.
