Trying new places for Dec 10-14?

Hey, I'm going to be in Vegas Dec 10 - 14 with 1 Vegas virgin and 1 girl who has been to Vegas once before, but skipped the clubs entirely. My friend who skipped the club scene last time says she'd like to go to a club "one night." Yeah, no. One night is not going to happen. This will be my 5th time in Vegas, but I'm not usually in charge of planning anything dealing with the clubs. The usual plan of attack is:
Fri - XS
Sat - Tryst
Sun - Bank (but I really am not a huge fan of The Bank. Person we were with lost their table and then my friend got kicked out because someone had placed a beer bottle on a ledge and she knocked it over when she turned around. Security accused her of throwing it! She's a 33 year woman for goodness sake.)

This time I'm thinking of trying some new places:
Fri - Palms
Sat - Surrender (Is this ok temperature-wise in December?)
Sun - Vanity or XS

Out of the ones I'm thinking of hitting up I've only been to XS recently. Last time I was at the Palms was 4 years ago at Ghostbar. Are these all good in terms of music if i'm looking for top 40/hip-hop/mashups/etc and not house music all night? I'm also clueless about the wristbands for The Palms so any information on those would be helpful. Since it's only 3 girls we're not going to be looking into doing any bottle service. I'll probably contact some hosts regarding guestlists, but since this is my first time planning things I'm a bit nervous about how to go about things.

Also, one of my friend's has a 7 am flight out on Tuesday morning so I'm looking for something fun, but rather low-key to do on Monday night. I'm drawing a complete blank so any suggestions are welcome. We are going to be seeing some shows while we're out there as well, I just haven't figured out when yet.

FWIW, I'm 25 years old and my two friends are 24 and 25 (turning 26 when we get back so it's sort of an early birthday celebration). Thanks for any help/suggestions you can offer.

For Palms wristbands, you can get them on wanttickets.com I believe or buy them at the "Stuff" store inside Palms. They get you access for all 4 clubs (Rain, Moon, Ghostbar, and Playboy). For $120 I think they are open bar until like 2am or something like that. Since its just you 3 girls, you will have no problems getting on the hosts guestlists. Just contact the hosts on this site, let them know when and who will be coming and you will be in with no problems and no cover.

I was hoping not to go to Tryst on Saturday since that's what we typically do. Any suggestions for someplace other than Tryst Saturday or should I really just stick with that even though I was hoping to mix it up a bit?

On Sat you can go to any club....they will all be good. Tryst is a forum favorite and is never a bad time. But, you can do XS, TAO, Vanity, maybe even lower tier club like Pure or LAX. Im sure anywhere you go, you will have a good time.

Surrender will be a lot of fun on Saturday and you'll be good with either of your Sunday choices. Contact Mikey T. for the guestlist for Surrender and use the contacts on the front page for the other clubs.

alternate itinerary

Myself and some friends will be there Dec 9-12 - so not the same nights as you. But thought I'd give you our plan of action in case it helps you decide. Usually we go thu - sun, and do clubs/tables each night. Usually we do Tao on thursday, pick'em on friday, and XS on saturday. The girls in our group love XS and Tao but this last time we went to Pure on friday and it was just meh. This time we're thinking:

Thursday - Tao
Friday - Vanity or Surrender
Saturday - XS

Since a bunch of us are staying at XS, Surrender may be where we end up going on Friday. Hope you have a great time - let us know what you end up deciding.

You really have to swap that Palms (assuming you mean Rain/Ghostbar-pregame) on Fri to Sat, and Surrender from Sat to Fri. Those are these venue's "best" nights. XS on Sunday is solid as gold. Happy Early Bday.
