  • Best Lounge to go at midnight this Thursday?/Best Casino Hosts?

Hi guys, this site is GREAT! So 4 of us (two married couples in the thirties range) are heading to Vegas to party this upcoming weekend. We're staying at the Bellagio and celebrating our friend's birthday. We're from NYC so we're no strangers to clubs, bars, overpriced drinks, etc.

We arrive at the airport at 10:30 and I plan on surprising our friend with a limo at the airport. It's picking us up to take us to Bellagio to drop our stuff off and then I wanted to surprise everyone and arrange for us to go somewhere. I think we'll be pretty exhausted after working, travelling, etc., BUT hey, it's our first night in Vegas so we definitely want to party. Our friend's are not big, super loud megaclub types (though I am!) so we want to keep it sort of low key but fun.

First Question: After looking at these posts, for Thursday at midnight I'm thinking Ghost Bar? Voodoo Lounge? Which place will be good at midnight this Thursday? Will they be hard to get into (two girls/two guys) and if so, do we need to get a bottle or call someone for a guest list? Is there someplace else that would be a really cool lounge with the 30+ crowd?

Second Question: One other question is about Tao. We have late dinner reservations (10pm) there on Friday night. I have no idea about the layout of Tao. Is the club separate from the restaurant? Will we be able to get into the club easily after dinner? Can someone recommend a good host with email/text for these spots? Also we're doing Carnovino on Saturday night at the Palazzo, where should we go afterwards at the Palazzo/Wynn?

Third Question: Not sure if anyone on here would know about Casino Hosts for comps and whatnot? I'm assuming my husband and my friend's husband will gamble about $10,000 this weekend, probably at the Bellagio since that is where we are staying. How do we go about finding a good host to start a relationship with, or do they find us? I don't mind gambling (and losing), as long as we're getting some of that massive spa and hotel bill written off!

    Thanks guys!!!

Hit up Mikey T and give Blush at the Wynn a try it's a smaller boutique club and has the kind of crowd I think you're looking for. It's intimate and more of a boutique club I guess you could say, really beautiful inside with great music. I would recommend bottle service it would be a lot more comfortable for you guys because you have your own space plus ladies love the purse drawers they have in the seats.

if any of you have never been to vegas, bottle service at Moon would be a solid choice.

surrender or XS are definitely worth the $ of bottles, and you are honestly the right age for any of the top clubs.

      have fun~

I'll answer the some of the second question too lol. Tao the restaurant and Tao the nightclub are separate but when you eat a full meal there you can get stamped to get into the club with no cover charge. So it's worth it just to go in and experience it even if the rest of the crew aren't mega-clubbers.

I'll weigh in on the third question - you won't get any kind of casino host attention until AFTER you play and if it's your first visit, you will probably have to initiate the conversation.

Make sure everything they bet is tracked on a player's card, and then have them go to the host office the night before you check-out to get their comps applied to the bill.

$5k each for 2 guys over a weekend will likely play out at $50-$100/hand for 4-6 hours a day. That's not quite legendary by Bellagio standards, but it's respectable and should be enough to get them each a couple hundred dollars knocked off the hotel bill.

Q1. For something lowkey, you're probably right with Ghostbar or Voodoo. Not sure about Voodoo, but for Ghostbar, try contacting one of the hosts here before hand and tell them your situation for Thursday and ask if there are guestlist/walk-in options for late arrival.

Q2. looks like already answered above

Q3. always make sure you get the card first. Feel free to ask to speak to a host while you are playing to start building that relationship. Ask the pitboss or cocktail waitress after playing a little bit if they can help find a casino host to come talk to you. May not amount to much, but never hurts to ask and start building the relationship.
