  • How's the Bellagio?

We're booked for 3 nights at the Bellagio next weekend! Just from a few photos I've seen, the place looks pretty fancy!

I was wondering if the pools are open this time of year? As well, how's the location? This is my first time in Vegas so I'm not familiar with the strip. It'd be nice to be able to walk to most clubs and not have to worry about a cab.

Yes, Bellagio is a very nice hotel with great rooms/service/restaurants. I don't really care that much about it, but some people really go gaga over the fountain show, so try and get a room facing the strip with a view of it or check it out while you're there. Pools are open year round 'til like 6 pm. Bellagio has the best location on the strip imo, you're pretty centrally located and have everything you need around you. What clubs were you thinking about? You have Bank downstairs so that'll be easy enough, then the other majors are at Aria (which is right next to you and you can walk/take a tram to), Caesar's (also next to you and walkable), and then Venetian/Palazzo and Wynn/Encore a bit further down the strip. Those last 4 are like 25-40 minutes from Bellagio if you're walking, but they're all on the strip so you wouldn't get lost. And given it's your first time in town, it may be enjoyable to do it on foot rather than cab so you can take it all in and see everything on the strip, your choice. The only places (club-wise) you'd def. need a cab are to Hard Rock and Palms which are futher away and off the strip.

How is The Bank? I've been trying to get some info on all the main clubs and I'm having a hard time deciding! There's only 3 of us and we'd like to do table service each night.

So far I've been pushed towards Lavo for Sunday night and then possibly XS for one of the others. I had some friends mention the Voodoo lounge was a nice spot with fantastic service.

Good? I mean I'm not sure exactly what response you want but you won't go wrong there and the fact that you're staying at the Bellagio makes it an easier choice. This board is comprised of countless degenerates, club-goers, and functional alcoholics who live in or frequent Vegas fairly regularly...I'd venture that not many would list Lavo as their top choice on any weekend night. I'm not saying that you wouldn't have a great time at Lavo, but if you're asking for input here, the consensus best won't be Lavo. Depending on who you ask, this is what you'll get most often:
Friday- Surrender, Tryst, XS, Vanity, Palms Clubs
Saturday- Surrender, Tryst, XS, Palms Clubs
          Sunday- Bank, Vanity, XS
Regardless of what you pick, chances are you're going to enjoy yourself, so no reason to stress too much over it. The only thing you should look into is say you absolutely hate house music, then there are certain clubs you should avoid on certain nights. And if you have a preference between smaller clubs and huge clubs then you can inquire specifically about that as well.

Voodoo Lounge is not a "club" like the rest of these are, if that's the type of spot you're looking for then that's another question all together.

Nah, I just checked out the Voodoo and that one is definitely out.

As for Sunday, I'll book a table at The Bank...no point in debating it any more! I'll look for a Host or just contact them directly to get it set up.

Now Friday and Saturday night, shit maybe I'll pick em at random and go with it. Like you said I'm sure we'll have a good time no matter which one we pick.

            Thanks for all the help!
