Hello from Michigan

Hello everybody! My name is Matt and I’m 26 and from the metro Detroit area. I’d say I’m very quickly becoming a vegas junkie as in about two weeks I’m going to log my 4th Vegas trip in a calendar year’s time. Always an amazing time with 10000 stories to share from the trip (good, bad or ugly LOL!).

This trip that I’m about to make on Nov 19th (staying until the 22nd) is the first trip I’ll be going on, with myself as the “lead planner”. Given that it’s just myself and my girlfriend on this trip (can I get a “bringing sand to the beach” reference ), I actually feel a little less secure about nightclub access than with my usual group of friends. I’ve already made arrangements for Friday night with a hosting service, but still have nightlife for Saturday and Sunday open.

Are there any suggestions from this forum about how to set up my plans for Sat/Sun? Is it as simply as emailing / calling some of the listed hosts, and how receptive would they be to a “group” of my size being just 2 people? For what it's worth I would even be willing to do table/bottle service for just the two of us if we can keep the purchase requirement to one bottle but I'm not sure how that would go over with club staff. Please let me know your thoughts on that also.

1 guy 1 girl.. that might be overkill for a bottle. It's pretty easy to get into places as a couple. What clubs are you interested in checking out? Forum favorites lean towards the top mega clubs - XS, Tryst, Tao, Surrender, Vanity, etc.

You might also want to check out Lavo on Sunday. It's a medium sized club, and one of the posters here (Donnie.Lavo) is a host there who takes care of JC members.

Check out the get connected section and see if others are going on that weekend and if they want to combine for some botles as well.

Anyways, in an ideal world, we'd look at going to Surrender or Tryst on Sat night and XS on Sunday night. It looks like, as you mention, in the connections section, there's someone else from this forum traveling the same weekend so I may hit him up to see if we can coordinate some plans for BS.

Also, at some point on one of the nights, I'd like to go to one of the sky high lounges/clubs with a view (Mix, Ghostbar, etc.), but I'd prefer this be a second stop. Do hosts tend to mind if I request for escorted entry if it's later in the evening like midnight or 1am?

Mix is more of a pre-game spot imo. Ghostbar, you could probably get there late and be fine. This last trip we went to Ghostbar on Sunday night first at like 8-8:30 pm just for some of the group to check out the view before we headed to XS (had to be at XS by 11).

An option could be doing 1 night at the palms. They have all access wristbands for about $60 a person that lets you bar up all 4 of the palms clubs. I'm also sure if got bottles at say Rain or Moon, the host could get you into the other 3 if you wanted as well.

Becareful with the hosting services.. they rape you with service charges.. if you need help.. we got you on here... I myself have you at Wynn/ Encore.. (XS Surrender Tryst Blush)
Donnie Eversol has you at Venetian or Palazzo.. if need be... theres a list of hosts for EVERY club... just ask... it will saveyou in the long run...

Thanks Mikey! Really appreciate your advice. "I think" the package I purchased is ok as it's more of a club hop package than direct "hosting", but your comments are being heeded well.

Also, check your PM when you have a chance, I have have a specific request as part of my trip planning.
