Tipping a host for club entry

I see all the host contacts listed on the JC homepage. Is it customary to tip that host if they add you to the guest list and/or escort you into the club? This is for a group of all 20something ladies.

$10 per girl is a good rule of thumb
guys $20-50 (or more), depends on how busy and packed it is and how much and if cover is waived.
