I will be in LV next week and plan on trying Fiamma at MGM Grand for dinner. They offer a tasting menu (3 courses) for $45/pp, plus you can add a wine pairing. I've heard excellent things about their food and the price seems right.

Nothing to do with you asking for suggestions but I was at a club afew years ago aand it was this girls birthday nd her mom took her and her daughters friends out for her daughters 21st birthday. I met the daughter and was drinking and hitting it off with her. We were on the dancefloor dancing together when her mom cameup and started grinding on me from behind. Next thing I know, I was being grinded by daughter in the front and mother in the back. I couldnt figure out if this was really awesome or really akward.

Advice if you are taking daughter out for her birthday, do not grind with the same guy at the same time

MMMMMM yea, I'm gonna go with awkward on that one! I can top it though-when we were partying in Greece, two guys/friends were dancing/grinding with the two of us until they had us up next to each other/sandwiched! Awkward! And we split soon after that!

I just like to chill, hang out, drink and watch the "show" that is my daughter and her friends!

T minus 18 days! Got the hotel, think we've got the restaurant figured out (Society Encore Cafe), NOW I think I have her talked OUT of the Cris Angel show. What are other suggestions for good shows--we have been told the "adult" hypnotist is pretty funny.....any of the Cirque shows should be fun-but have already been to a couple of those. And she has no interest in watching the "thunder from downunder" LOL

We saw Holly Madison's Peep Show at Planet Hollywood this past Saturday. I know it doesn't get rave reviews on this site but it was actually descent. Not Cirque or anything like that but for my first Vegas show in the four times I've been out there I'd say it's worth a look. I think people go in expecting to see Holly doing all kinds of things, when in the grand scheme of things, its the rest of the crew that really makes the show. Ticket prices were reasonable as we even paid for upgraded seats where I could reach out and almost touch her.

I already met Miss January 2011 earlier in the day so seeing another Playboy model at night didn't hurt...

FYI, I saw Chris Angel on my last trip to Vegas and it was the BIGGEST waste of time ever! Good thing, we got the tickets free cuz I would have been pissed had we spent money on them, we didn't even stay for the whole show. I'd recommend The Lion King or a Cirque show instead, Love was pretty good even if ur not into the Beatles music. Just my two cents, don't want her to be disappointed on her 21st! There are so many better options in Vegas to choose from .

I think we've decided to do "La Reve" since it is at the same complex where we are having dinner--and can get Dinner packages with the show!
Will post a trip review when this whole shindig is over!
