  • Closest liquor store?

Where's the closest liquor store to Luxor? Last time I went I believe I ended up getting taken to a grocery store closer to the airport which had everything needed. Need to purchase some pre-game beverages when I arrive.

There's a liquore store in luxor. I'm sure there are cheaper places all over, but at least its right in there.

              Some unfortunate experiences with this:
              1. Our limo driver took us to a place that wasn't really on the way to the Palms. Ok I guess...he goes in with us and signs a clipboard (?) and I notice the prices are HIGHER than in Alaska...WTF? I figured it was some sort of kickback he was getting with the clipboard thing.
              2. The bellman told us to go a short walk away to a liquor store by the hotel. We followed his advice to find out it was only beer. I guess you have to ask, but here a store can't sell just beer, it's an alcohol license.

Just do your homework and use the forums. If you have a chance, I recommend using a grocery store so you can get two vital needs for the preparty: a case (or two) of water, and plastic cups.
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Most of the better hotels have stores that sell liquor, and I find them only moderately more expensive than the liquor stores. For the convenience factor, I'd just stick with the liquor store in the hotel.

Last time it was only on the second last time that I finally got to a place with actual Liquor. Everyone I asked told me "Walgreens" or they knew a place that sold beer. Walgreens had beer and some girl drinks.

Want to find a good place with good pricing so i'm not searching again. The grocery store I went to was inexpensive and if you bought 6 bottles you got a volume discount.
