Palms Wristbands help

Hey I'm new to this and looking for info about these VIP wristbands you can buy from the Palms website,

VIP All Access Wristband
VIP ALL ACCESS WRISTBAND Includes: VIP Express Admission to Rain Nightclub, Playboy Club, Moon Nightclub, & Ghostbar. (ALL SERVICE FEES INC.)
$68.00

Do they work? would this mean we wouldnt have to que? I'm going in a group of guys and I know this is never good for getting in anywhere and was wondering if this was an easier way of doing it?!

There is a cheaper one for $45 but I dont think that would include missing the que and we may have to pay someone 'extra' for that so this could just get it all out the way at the start!

Also if we did get these bands when would we have to turn up by? Or could we turn up whenever and get in easily? and where do you get the bands?

Do a search. Theres a lot of threads on the topic, but YES, they do work. Its a short line just for them to check your ID each time you enter the club.

My last trip to vegas we purchased the VIP pass with unlimited vodka(some other stuff too) for about 160 each. That passed us to the front without waiting.

What happens is you pay a down payment for the tickets. Then when youre out there in vegas you will get a call the day before to verify you will still show up to the club. You can also call to make sure too. Then you carry the remainder of the fee with you to the club.

Generally you want to arrive before 11pm. This person will meet you somewhere in the casino, (say the front desk). You hand over the money and introduce you group. You will go up to the shop that is by the Rain entrance and you will get your wrist bands there. You will wait in line if there are people purchasing items in that store(clothing), or other people picking up their wrist bands. Once you have that you will get escorted to the entrance and you move on in .

I didnt get the wrist band that will allow access to the other clubs so i dont know how that process works. I would assume you can get in past the line.

Dont worry about it too much. The most important thing is make the payment, get the contact info, contact the contact the previous day to confirm, they meet you.. and everything from there they take care of until you get into the line where you will be handing over your ID.

My experience with the all access wristbands wasn't such a good one, my frugal brother opted for the cheaper wristband. While we got in faster it wasn't fast enough to justify the price difference, something like 10 minutes. Plus he got into every club we did with no problems, so for $20 or so extra bucks I got a pretty paper bracelet.

I am not sure. I think you have to pre purchase because its through an entertainment group. You can call the store and ask.

Ya its a good plan for just 8 guys. I dont know what the "stuff" store was called but its right between the Club Rain entrance and the Ghost Bar. They sell some clothing and some other stuff. Its a very small shop.

you can buy them at the stuff store which saves you the 8.50 processing fee. The only risk you take not buying beforehand is if they sell out of them.

It's one of those things that depends on the situation. Sometimes all 4 places have crazy lines, some times less so. Also if you plan to hop around, it helps cause if you think about, just going to all 4 clubs in your case, 10 min earlier each time is 40 min for the night of extra partying.

Sometimes even the re-entry line is backed up if you're going in and out of the same club. One time my friends and I left Moon/Playboy, then when we went back, I walked in through the wristband line within a minute or 2. The reentry line for my friends was backed up and they waited about 15 min.

Thanks alot drew for that clarification. My friends and I are flying down Saturday morning from Calgary Alberta and I didn't really wanna put all the cost on my credit card. I think we will just stop by the palms during the day and try and purchase them
