  • Help me plan my trip please

I will be coming for my 21st birthday in November. I arrive Nov 18th(thursday) and leave the 22nd(monday). I will be coming with 2 guy friends, and possibly a 3rd, he's still trying to figure out if he can come. We're staying at The Mirage.

Now we are all 21-23 years old and in school, so we aren't ballin $$$, yes we work but we can't afford to go crazy. Our budget will be $600 tops NOT including airfare and hotel. So $600 for spending money PER PERSON. I may have a little more than my friends so I'll say $700 for myself.

Anyway, I would just like you guys to help us plan what to do. We're not gonna be seeing any shows or anything. We definitely want to go to a couple clubs, preferably ones that aren't so packed that you can't even move in. We also don't mind going to bars/lounges sometimes. If you could give me the best things to do day by day that would be perfect.

Also, whats ONE strip club that you recommend?

    thanks.

Well, with that budget it'll be a little tough but definitely doable. Make sure nobody gambles.

There are tons of options you can do in advance. For example, wristbands. Tao offers wristbands online that are good for the whole weekend, and it lets you into Tao/Lavo all weekend (I'm not 100% sure if they're still available).

Also, in your case the Palms' wristbands would be a good option. It lets you and your friends into all the Palms clubs for either Friday/Saturday.

As long as you guys watch your money, and don't go too crazy at the clubs drinking you can have a blast. I have a friend who just went and he hit clubs/pool parties/strip club and he somehow only managed to spend 800. And pool parties are closed so you can definitely get this done with 600-700.

Yeah none of us are big gamblers at all. Also, we will keep plenty of alcohol in our room and pregame before we go out.

Pregaming in the rooms is definitely key. Also, strip club of choice in these forums is Spearmint Rhino. But fun can be had elsewhere like Sapphires.

Be smart about the spending, but definitely look into the wristbands. And if you decide to go to another club, get there early. So you're not waiting in line forever. But be prepared to pay cover.

You can definitely do $700, but you need to be smart and prepare.

          Few things:

BUY FLASKS You can sneak them into the clubs and easily spend under $30 at the club that night getting smashed (a healthy pregame beforehand as well)

If you're dead set on hitting the strip club, get the limo for free entry and ONLY bring like $100 to spend, leave ccards and extra cash at the hotel. Dont leave a man behind and dont let them make bad decisions about private dances...you'll end up owing the strip club A LOT.

Walk to some places/take shuttles if available. When taking a cab, know the route, don't let them screw you. Cabs can get pricey.

Take advantage of happy hours for food. http://www.vegasstubs.com/las-vegas-happy-hours.htm

Also, throw in some fun smaller venues. Lots of fun can be had at V-bar, blush, Revolution, etc

Also, casino bars at places like Hard Rock (their center bar gets busy) and MGM can be a lot of fun as well.

Is there anyway a group like this could swing bottle service?

I'll be in a very similar financial situation in March with a group of 8 guys (or maybe 6 or 7) and was hoping to swing a table somewhere. How far could about $1600 (thinking roughly $200 per person) take 8 guys on a Friday night?

Does going in March (off-season, right) make any difference?

                Thanks.

There really is no offseason in my opinion. unless it's like christmas day. March weekends are busy. BUT- you can definitely get bottle service for $1600 for 8 guys. Most places will allow 2 bottles min for that many guys. Some places will say 3 botle min for 8 guys, so just don't go there.

Math on 2 bottles - $450 a bottle X 2, $900, tax and tip brings it to about 11-1200, then throw in a $100-300for the host that sets you up (you can tip more of course, how much you tip is up to you and how much you feel you've been helped but I wouldn't go below $100) and you're still under $1600.

Yeah we definitely don't mind going to smaller places.

Also, isn't their a more casual club at Hard Rock? I'm pretty sure I'm not thinking of Vanity, but I forgot what it's called.

Wasted Space at hard rock was a forum favorite but they just closed it down like a month ago unfortunately.
