Looking to help a very close friend.

A very close friend of mine was critically injured Wednesday while practicing BMX at TJ Lavin's house and was sent to UMC Medical center's trauma unit with very severe injuries both to his brain and face. While we are being positive to his full recovery, he has a very long journey ahead of him and can easily be in the hospital healing for many months.

A massive fundraising campaign is now underway at www.healtypinney.com to help raise money for Ty and his family as his journey through this continues. Any assistance you are able to offer by way of donations through that site and / or in spreading the http://www.healtypinney.com link through your social media would be greatly appreciated.

In a twist of fate, TJ Lavin, a close friend of Ty's who was on board with Ty's fundraising efforts, was similarly injured at the Dew Tour at Hard Rock Hotel a day later and is now also in a medically induced coma on the same floor at Ty.

I use to watch TJ Lavin host all the MTV real world / road rules challenges. I still watch them whenever they come out. May they both get a speedy recovery
