  • Do winning tickets in sports books ever expire?

I was just wondering is there a time period that you have to collect your winnings by on a winning sports book ticket? For example, if you have somebody, who is visiting Vegas, place a bet on something for you that doesn't take place until after they leave. Thanks in advance.

From previous posts I've seen its technically against the law to place a bet for someone but people do it anyway. To answer your question though I believe its like 6 months or something like that but they do have a deadline on the ticket. Also IF you do win and its a good amount just use it as an excuse to go back to Vegas

2MSR-I should've looked at the back of the ticket I have (Although it was a losing bet, just kept as a memento), says you can mail it in too.

Cisco-I wish I had the stones to place a bet big enough to cover my expenses for my next Vegas trip lol.

        Thanks for the help fellas.
