What exactly is an industry night at a club and what does it entail? Tried to search the boards, but gave up after an hour. haha

It's just a midweek night that club chooses to a) be open and b) welcome people who work in the nightlife industry for the purpose of networking.

However, this is not an overt presence and should not affect your experience. the club will just seem open for business as usual.

Industry nights are sometimes viewed by many as the clubs best night as well.

Tao's industry night is on Thursday, which is forum consensus for the best night to go to Tao.

It's a night that the AOD members, in masse: a) let their presence be known and b) dominate as much of the party as possible for the purpose of ass kicking craziness.

This is however, an overt presence and should affect your experience. The club will just seem crazier than usual.

Industry nights are a night during the week that the nightclubs will offer comps for other nightclubs and industry workers to encourage them to come out and play. Locals and girls will always be free. Its a night when the people who love to work in the nightlife industry get to come out casual and let loose.

Clubs industry nights:
Sun - vanity, bank
Mon - xs, jet
Tues - moon, blush, pure, lavo
Wed - lax, surrender, eve
Thurs - tryst, haze, tao

There are other clubs open during the week, but those nights aren't industry nights. While deals on tables and admisson may be available, u prob won't find to many industry workers there. Exception to this is godskitchen at vanity and lavo sunday
