  • Wearing a kilt to the clubs...

With 4 months until my next trip and the busy period nearly over at work (except NYE), me and the guys are stepping up our plans for the trip.
We've already decided to do a club with bottle service for the Saturday night and the topic of me wearing my kilt for that night came up.
Is a kilt classed as proper dress code in Vegas clubs or is it frowned upon?
I've got the shoes and trimmings for traditional (Scottish) dress and I was wondering if you guys on the forums knew if it would be an acceptable form of attire?
Next trip: June 2013 - Stratosphere Skyjump part II, booze, & one big hangover - Let's Get Mindless!!!

I would say leave the Kilt at home. But double check with the ladies on here and see what they prefer.

I think I'm in love!!!! Yes wear the Kilt. But I don't think you need the full Scottish trimmings.
Dear Captain Morgan.....I've seen the pics we need to talk!

Please do a kilt (a real one). If you're paying for bottle service, no one will mind.

Plus, think of all the curious chicks that will just come up to you on their own.

I've seen this at clubs in California and my Scottish friend even had a kilt party at bar for his birthday. If you do it, you gotta do it like a real Scottish man...meaning going commando!!

Thats exactly why Tami enjoys the kilt... less protection

What I'm really upset about is that no one text me to tell me about this thread. And you Royale of all people know I love me some Kilts.

The last guy I befriended in Vegas with a kilt wore just a regular tshirt with his kilt with chucks on I think (outside in the casino). But I have seen them dressed up before when there is a big fight in Vegas.

Yeah, it is a traditional kilt and not an Ed Hardy one, and by the trimmings I mean proper shoes, waistcoat and a sporran, I don't bother with all the little fiddly bits and I usually wear my Doc Martens and a t-shirt (as seen in my avatar pic).
And in response to Elle: is there any other way to wear a kilt

                              Ed Hardy makes kilts?
The only winning move is not to play.
