haha, I didnt know what The Wire was either until all of the TV threads on here talked about it.

Its based around Baltimore law enforcement and their dealings with drugs, homocide, prositution, etc..at least so far.

Very addicting show, not what I expected when I heard people call it "the best tv show ever" but its definitely a great show so far... I can't stop watching

It centers on different parts of a failing city, but season 3 and on are amazing.

I can honestly say its top 3 shows I've ever watched.

Boardwalk empire rocks, there are slow moments at times, but I like all the little details they try to show about the time period. Great to see young capone and lucky luciano characters mixed in too.

The wire - I'm on season 1 like ep 5 or 6, going through it pretty slow but so far so good.
