Good series man! I honestly was super nervous when I knew we were flying back. I really think its our year, but we will see what happens. Texas got some serious bats for us to deal with.

Not to sound like a sore loser [though, I am], I really would find it hard to see Texas losing this series. The Giants didn't really show any offensive might during the NLCS and their pitching - aside from Cain's game 3 gem - wasn't really sharp. Even Lincecum looked shaky. Giants bullpen was sharp, but the Phils lack of hitting - particularly situational - lost the series for them. Texas's rotation is too good and their firepower, even with a DH, will make the difference.

All that said, I will not be watching... cause baseball doesn't exist this year (again).

Oh yea I completely agree with you. The Giants offense did JUST enough to win. Even the commentators said this was a manager's series and Bouchy just pulled all the right moves in the right situations to get them by game after game. We will see if this strategy works in the series, but Texas is by far the strongest opponent they will be facing. Hopefully our huge ball park will keep those balls in the yard

I WAS going to root for the Giants if they made the WS...I even told a couple buddies that are Giants fans, but the truth is, I don't know if I can deal with the douchebaggery of these fucks.

Dude, the Giants haven't won a World Series since their New York days. The Niners are 1-6. The Sharks look awful. The Cal Bears are mediocre. Let the SF fans enjoy something in sports, even if they haven't been watching every single Giants game.

I understand what you're saying, BUT I gotta deal with these arrogant bastards. There's a way to be prideful of your team and then there's what I've been seeing. Just because you're from the Bay area doesn't mean you get to CLAIM to be a fan, fuck that. It just doesn't sit right with me...its definitely not fair to all the true fans that have been there through the thick and thin. (whom I respect and have no trouble hearing them celebrate, its a great time for them)
