MY WIFE AND I WENT TO VEGAS FOR OUR 1ST ANNIVERSARY
(no threesomes, nothing dirty, just some quality time with my wife, some fine dinning, one show, XS, gambling, shopping, we skipped the pool parties, thank God we skipped the pool because it got cloudy and rainy)
HOTEL:
Bellagio, most of the time we stay at Wynn, but this time we wanted to try something different. Never tryed Bellagio and it's been a long time since staying at a MGM property so we tried Bellagio. Casino is packed all the time. Rooms are ok. Bellagio is ok, we probably won't be back, although we did like that it's center strip. We'll come back for free.
Friday Oct 1
Got to Vegas at about 12pm. Checked in, tryed the $20 sandwich unsuccesfully. She said no suites were available, not even fountain view. I kept the $20.
Ate at Wolfgang Puck Pizzeria & Cucina at the Crystals, everything was very good. Went to Aria (1st time), it's an ok casino but I was expecting more since it was a very big expensive project. Toured some casinos we really never go to, Monte Carlo, NY NY, MGM (picked up KA tickets at box office). Then went to PH and Miracle Mile shops, played a little went back to Bellagio, got ready for 6pm dinner at Picasso.

Everything was excellent. Very good food, good wine, great service. Very different than Alex at the Wynn (I liked Alex a little bit better) but both great. Great view of the fountains. $480 inc 20% tip. Worth every penny
KA
After dinner we went to see KA. It was too long, They could have cut about 30min. Awesome, cool stage, worth seeing it for the stage inclined fighting, but some parts are boring. O is better, Zumanity is better.
After KA we gambled at MGM and PH before going back to Bellagio for the night.
Saturday Oct 2
Went to the Bellagio buffet, it was ok, Wynn is better.
Gambled a little at Mirage (didn't like it, I remembered Mirage a lot better from 10 years back). Went to the Forum shops, Gambled at Caesars (Hopefully the new Octavious tower and new casino will be done by next year, can't wait). Went to Bellagio, PH, back to Bellagio before going to dinner at Cut at Palazzo. I really liked Palazzo I'm going to have to stay at Palazzo in the near future.

Kobe Beef sashimi is great, Bone marrow is ok, Sauteed Spinach is great, mashed potatoes are ok.
We shared an 8oz american wagyu filet and an 8oz australian wagyu filet (the filet is our favorite cut), medium rare (this is what we came for). They were both very good. The australian is more buttery, more flavor, very good. A 6 oz is enough for next time, it gets too buttery and tired of the rich flavor. The american was also prepared differently than the australian, the american tasted like they cooked it with bacon, When I noticed this I didn't like it very much, I felt they wanted to make a big taste difference between both cuts to justify the price. I didn't like that some parts of my half were over cooked, some parts seemed like medium well. I didn't like that at all. I don't complain about anything in restaurants i'm afraid they will do something to the food like spit or worse, I'll just try some other place next time. SW at Wynn very different but better overall. Cut has a very nice modern restaurant, it's nicer than the website pics. I'm a steak lover and I must say that Sullivans steakhouse (for us Sullivans has a better filet than Mortons and Flemings) in Tucson has a better filet than CUT (Sullivan's is the same as Del Frisco's) $480 inc 20% tip.

After dinner we went to XS (we wanted to go to Carrot Top, but decided to go directly to XS, next time will do only one fine dinning per weekend great dinner experiences both but very time consuming. Every fine dinning is 2-3 hours. plus only one show. time flyies in vegas) Anyways, XS was great, our 1st time, we loved it. We want to come back with friends and do bottle service and get really really drunk and not know how we got back to our room . very nice big club. After we gambled at encore and wynn.

we returned home at 2pm, gambled a little in the morning before coming back.
We miss LV, we didn't win, we played blackjack, roullette and slots. The slots gave nothing back I did go up by about $100 in roullette and blackjack a couple times during the trip but at the end I did loose couple grand or so, maybe less. Not easy winning in LV casinos, everytime I go I say no more roullette, I haven't won anything in a while at the roullette. Hopefully I'll get good casino offers after this.
Future trips
Next trip, superbowl weekend at Aria (Feb). I didn't like the casino very much, dark and brown but I'll stay there at least once. After Aria, Hard Rock (March or April), Wynn new rooms (May), Palazzo and Palms some time in the summer, Wynn or Caesars in September. Halloween and New years (Wynn) we'll see what happens.
