Does 2 guys have to pay the bouncer and cover?

Me and my buddy are going to Vegas Dec 18-22 (Sat-Wed). For the first night, we want to try an upscale club and not drink alcohol (just energy drinks).

Does 2 guys dressed appropriately have to pay the bouncer and cover to get in; even if you waited in line?

How do you pay a bouncer to bypass the line and how much do you give him; do you have to be discreet about it? I've never done this before at other clubs out of vegas.

I'm guessing the most popular clubs like XS will be a hassle to get in without getting bottle service. How about less popular clubs like Studio 54, RumJungle, etc. Would you have to pay the bouncer & cover to get in? Are all vegas clubs always packed everynight they're open? Would it be a good idea to go to the least popular club on that night of the week to advoid an over crowed place.

I'm not really all that amused by a glamorous scene. I just perfer a quick entrance that isn't to expensive, good music, and a high female to male ratio. I need advice on where to go & when. I've been to Carnival Court & VooDoo Lounge which was a fun time. I never been to the upscale clubs tough.

Yes you have pay cover. Only way to bypass the line is by Greasing the host.

You can have fun anywhere. Less popular clubs you're more likely to find free passes that actually work though.

Yeah, VooDoo Lounge and Carnival Court didn't charge a cover + no line (Had a blast!).

I know alot of people here are down with greasing hosts/doormen for entry but i'm against it. Like i've stated many times you can grease the doorman but still have to pay cover DOH!! If you navigate to the home page here and check out the guides there are some tried and true methods on getting into clubs quicker.

Yeah, I think I'm just going to tough it out and wait in lines and find out which clubs have the quickess entrance and show up before they open.

If you want to wait in lines. you have to make sure you get there early. Also, talk to some groups of girls and have them come in with you. The more girls in your group, the less of a wait.

+1 to this except get on the guest list tell the host you have X amount of girls then go out and get that number and more before you show up. Then text him when u do and have him walk you and your new friends in. FUCK LINES!! Just don't do it man I refuse to stand in a line anywhere I even get the flash pass at six flags!!

Do not "grease" anyone unless they provide a service. This is a hospitality segment of the industry right!?. Bouncers are overpayed giants, who need ego checks. You will have to pay a cover obviously if your not getting BS or in a group with a higher ratio of girls. But do not tip any bouncer, the hosts just want to sell bottles so if you have no intention to buy a bottle tell them to screw also, because in the end no one will help you unless you cough up that green.
