I think most people here you want you to know that a nicer room ups the fun factor. I personally think it sets the tone for the whole weekend.

But if EVERYONE (which would mean your have 3 rooms) gets a bed and you are saying that you are getting 3 Luxor Double Bed rooms for $300 hundred LESS than the PH towers, then you should probably go for the Luxor deal (especially if you don't plan on spending much time in your room)

Most top tier clubs have a bottle minimum of $425-$475 FYI.

For a group of six, you will probably be required to buy 2.

Your group sounds like it has a lot of energy and likes to move.

Look into the Palms wristband deal. It will get you all into the 4 clubs/lounges at the Palms (Rain, Moon, Ghostbar and Playboy) and you won't be tied down to any one spot.

Bottle service kind of locks you in for most of the night.

If you have your heart set on Bottle Service, you can always go club hopping at night and then get a table at Drai's (and this one will last you till the wee hours of the morning)

Anyway, just read this site. It has good info on the various clubs.

My comment regarding the rental was assuming you were flying in and renting a car IN Vegas. If you're getting a rental to drive TO Vegas that's different

btw, not that it matters but how the hell did you get my name into that quote up there? I never said that...haha

I love the internet. Not only have I found some properties on vrbo.com that may work, are nicer than Luxor and cheaper (anyone have thoughts on Jockey Club or Polo Towers?), but I also found the coupons on the LV Monorail site, of which there was one for 2 for 1 helicopter tour, which makes the tour completely affordable and reasonable. $40 a person, not bad.

Jockey club is in a very prime location, right next to Bellagio, but they are pretty old. Also, for some bargains, make sure to ask for a coupon book at some of the casino's.

With an even ratio it won't actually be that hard to get in free on the guest list. Decide if you really want to bet bottle service. If your entire group wants to actually stay together through the night then you need to.

Ah, old is fine, but is it better than the oh-so-hated-Luxor?

Yeah, that's what I was hoping. We should (hopefully) be able to do Vanity for free on Thursday, Tao for free after dinner on Friday, and Rain we'll probably get the club hopper passes for $40, but we might guest list instead...

If Tao is so packed, maybe that should be where we get a table, but then that voids the "get in for free after dinner" coolness factor, unless I can convince the host to cut me a deal on BS after eating dinner?... I can't decide between there or Rain...

I dunno if its better or worse, but I personally would not stay there. Tao is a spot where BS service is must. Don't mean to burst your bubble, but getting a deal on BS in Vegas is almost impossible unless you have a relationship with the host. I don't if this will work or not, but you can try to do is get bottle service for 3ppl, 1 bottle...location will be most likely be the lounge on the lower level, far away from all the action. Then have the rest of your crew come in with stamps and meet you at the table.

The only places that I can think of that will give you a deal, are places like Crown Nightclub...pretty much places that aren't very popular.

I don't think bottle service at Tao is that great because there are so many disjointed rooms and hallways, who knows where they'll seat you?

Alright, good thing to keep in mind then. And if I was dropping 4k on a trip to Vegas like it was no big deal, I probably would be very choosey on where I was staying too. Hahaha. So perhaps dinner at Tao before is out and that is where we should splurge on BS... I've seen deals gotten every time I've gone without any relationship to the hosts. Whether it is buy one get one free, but one get one half off, or even just a small discount on the bottle itself. And that's not counting Vanity where we know the DJ. I have a friend who says he knows a girl who works at Tao and is apparently dating someone important there, so perhaps I could try that out.

This website seems to suggest that you can request where you sit. I remember Jack saying he recommends asking for the Moat area?

You can def. request where. The better the location, the higher the price. Also, when you get walked to your table, if you don't like it, you can ask to see other options if there are any.

The caveat is there's always a possibility of res's being bumped when high rollers come to visit AND if you don't show up on time, they will give out your table and you're stuck with whatever's open when you get there.

I haven't heard of too many deals at TAO, maybe on a Sunday?? Royale was telling that it is possible to get B1G1 at Vanity on Thursdays. Moat Area at TAO, is a prime location usually 2-3 bottle minimum. What I would recommend is not to rely on someone who is a friend of friend, friends girlfriends, who's bf works there. Contact Bob Shiendlar (contact info on forums), ask him how much it will be and go from there.
