Large Group- Need Club Suggestions

After sending out a lot of invites my 30th birthday has turned into a small college reunion and we now have an awkward group size of 30-35 (10 girls). We are looking for a club that plays Top 40/House on Sat 11/13.

What are some options for a group this size considering half will do bottle service and half won't. In the past with large groups we usually get buy 2 get 1 deals- is this realistic with 2/3 guys? We are fine with a club that isn't packed because we will mostly be partying with our crew. Thanks in advance.

I will echo what most people here will probably advise:

Have the girls get on a guestlist or partner with the misers of your group to help with entry.

What nights are you going? Weekends will obviously be a lot more competitive.

See if the host will let you book a couple tables that are within close proximity of each other (easier if you book in advance) and by sheer numbers you will own your selective corner of the club.


Tao is always effing packed. (only been there twice) but it is a "narrow" club. You might want to avoid it for such a large party unless you want to throw down a lot of cash.

Surrender might be nice if you don't mind kicking it outside (danceflooor isn't huge)

XS and other top clubs will be more expensive. This site has some solid trip reports on Vanity and Jet.

For a group that size (assuming you all get in under your ideal conditions) you should be tipping generously.

I am sure some of the vets can chip in on how much and other details but best advice is to plan ahead and take care of your host.

Rain could be an option, except they are all house on Sat night, but they are decently sized and not top tier which will help a group this big. If not interested, then just stick with the majors.

Breeze has good advice. Gather all the people willing to pay for bottles together, then however maybe bottles that gets you ask the host for help to get the rest of your party in (hopefully mix of girls/guys). hopefully your cheaper friends will at least offer to pay some tip to hosts to get in if they aren't interested in chipping in bottles.

Thanks for the responses. I'll take the advice as we try and formulate a plan. Our crew is still growing, currently at 50 -- 20f/30m, so we will finalize things as soon as I have final numbers. As of right now I think we will send the people for bottle service together and then send the everyone else with the girls in smaller groups with a better ratio.
