IMHO $100 is standard, not taking "very good care of him", but youd have to more specific about the deal for me to be more specific. Id usually throw a host 25-50% of the savings, on top of what Id normally tip. Its a give and take, and I see the same host often, so its better for me if we both benefit from the deal, so I continue to get deals.
