Harrahs for sure. Past 2 years I've gambled maybe $100 per trip and I get comps or deep discount all the time. I've never received anything from MGM.
I just checked prices for a thur-mon trip. Rio and Ballys was $35 total and PH was $200 totalBlackout Artist

it also depends on which properties you like. If you like MGM, M-Bay, or Belliago, then go with MGM. If you like PH, Caesars, or Paris go with harrahs. Also, considering the restaurants and shows at each property if you plan to gamble enough to get RFB or even nice meals comp'd.
I will say that harrah's program is much more straight forward when it comes to comps. Play level = this much. In my opinion, its harder to predict the treatment at MGM.
If you're a slot player, I'd navigate to Harrah's, if you're a table player at or above $50 a hand, I'd gravitate to MGM. And after all this, if you're just a casual player looking for marketing offers, go with Harrah's...

I've always gotten great deals with the MGM card. Can't argue with $50 rooms on the weekend.Jack Colton's AOD Invasion May 2010 = Success!!!

I get the basic $10 off list price discount with my harrahs card and various offers that aren't really much better than what you can find online at deal sites.
MGM card - I get offers that provide bigger more meaningful discounts off their listed rates, especially for Mirage.
So it's a crap shoot in how their formulas and systems are setup for what they value. I've actually gambled a lot more at Harrah's property (a handful) whereas I've only gambled once 2 years ago at the penny slots in a MGM property.

Most of the time I gamble at Harrahs properties, or Wynn, Wynn is one of my favorite resorts, but for what I gamble Wynn doesn't give me many comps. Anyways, Harrahs used to give me free Paris rooms all the time or at least Ballys, but now they only offer comped room at Imperial Palace, or low low rates for Flamingo, and Harrahs, but I wouldn't stay at these hotels. They do a small discount on Planet Hollywood and Paris, no discount on Caesars. I'm going to try MGM next time, I've never stayed at Bellagio, so I'll try that, hopefully I start getting $50 Mirage weekend rates, or at least NY NY, hopefully not Circus Circus or Monte Carlo, I'll pass on those. I figure since MGM has more room inventory than Harrahs, they should have more to offer for free and since MGM remodeled their hotels(Mirage, NYNY, Luxor) at least rooms will be better than Paris/PH/Ballys, Not even Caesars has remodeled their old tower.

I can only attest to the MGM card, I am not a big spender but gamble casually. I get great deals at NYNY, Luxor and Excalibur $59 a night twice each quarter with deeper discounts throughout the week. MGM, Aria and the Bellagio discounts are not enough to make it affordable. How much are you in the room anyways??? NYNY works for me

I don't gamble a lot, but when I do I tend to play roulette or slots if I'm just killing time. I haven't played on my MGM card in years. I use my TR card more often. I also live in NY so it gives my the option to use it when I play at any of the Harrah's hotels in AC. I think Harrah's gives pretty decent discounts on some of their hotels (Ballys, Flamingo, Paris). Okay discounts for PH and nothing to speak about for Ceasar's. Unfortunately, the only hotel they ever offer comp'd weekend rooms at for me is IP. I haven't really used/received any other offers from them though.Upcoming trips:
