My wife and I usually stay on the other end of the strip but after our last trip, we noticed everything we like to do is towards the Wynn/Encore side! Do you recommend staying at the Wynn or Encore--both are real close in price. We are in our early 30's. Thanks for your help.

I prefer Encore. When are your trip dates? Usually if you find a promo code, Encore and Wynn will be the same rate. -

I book my trip flights + hotels together through a website because it tends to work out cheaper, so I've no idea if this is the same for everyone, but the room offered to me at the Encore was a lot bigger than the one at the Wynn. I don't know if I got an upgraded room at the Encore though.Comment

as far as the actual casinos they are very similar. haven't stayed in an Encore room, but have stayed in the Wynn twice which was really nice. Encore is an all-suite hotel so that's a plus cause the rooms are bigger. I am staying at Encore for Halloween and NYE so i am very excited to check it out! i am sure you'll be happy with either, but if i had the choice at the same price i'd choose Encore for the size alone. keep in mind that Wynn is just a 5 min walk through a connecting mall away so you can easily spend time at both casinos!"Cause when I get my card back activated I'm back to Vega$$"

Encore rooms are larger and overall the Encore is quieter than the Wynn. Both are very nice though. Cant go wrong with either one.Comment

I have stayed many time at wynn and once at encore and I like wynn better. The buffet at wynn is great and there a great sandwich/soup place at wynn. I like that wynn is a little bit closer to the mall and Palazzo. The wynn also has some new rooms. Of couse the Encore is really nice as well. For this trip stay at the Encore and next trip stay at the wynn, and you decide which one's better. I liked encore but I just felt that everything was farther so I'll go back to wynn for next time, I want to stay at the new wynn rooms aswell. Both casinos are nice, although I did make more money on wynn than encore, but thats luck I guess. If you like upscale dinning try Alex at the wynn it's holy shit good or SW steakhouse as well.Comment
