Will the bottle prices, minimums be the same for New Years at XS like other Saturdays? I know it's 1 bottle per 3 persons on regular nights. If more, how much more?

No, expect the minimum to be no less than 5k. You ability to get a table will be determined by your relationship with your host, your bottle min and your handshake to the podium manager. They sell out on a normal saturday, expect them to be sold out for NYE very soon. If this is in your budget, contact the JC.com listed host for an exact min.

I'd be afraid of XS on NYE.

agreed - 5k would probably be around the minimum, and realistically, the 5k would not get you the usual 10 bottles that it normally would as they usually add a "table" charge to the minimum (to get you to the 5k)

normally you'd be paying like 2k for like 12 people (assuming 4 bottles @ 500/pop) .. on NYE its like 4k for a shitty table with like 6 people on it that gets you 2 bottles + some included champagne..

EDIT: forgot to add.. thats assuming that you have a good relationship with the guys there, and they know what you are going to give them up front

Too much money. I don't think it's worth it. I guess all the big clubs are going to be like that for new years. What other smaller clubs should I consider trying to spend less that 2K for about 6 total, if trying to get a table? Is getting in clubs like XS without a table even an option?

I'd say wait it out, see what kind of deals pop up. Some clubs will have advanced tickets they sell online. Then decide. Keep in mind that JC plans on having another NYE event like last years, depending on how many people will show up.

I believe it was something like 100 or 125 per person. It included entry plus open bar for a few hours. It was well worth it, in my opinion. Plus we had everyone from the site in one big table area and we tore it up. There's a video of last year if you search for it.

NYE at a nightclub in Vegas can be a lot of fun or it can be a huge disappointment.

You are going to be expected to spend a LOT more than usual, for a night that will likely be quieter than the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.

The crowd can be hit-or-miss. Anyone with a credit card can get a guaranteed GA ticket in advance on ticketmaster.com so you get a lot of people who have never been to a club in Vegas before and will never go to one again. Since everything for NYE is locked down in advance right down to the table assignments and bottle orders, there isn't much for the hosts to do at the door except hand out business cards and tell people which line to stand in.

Almost everyone with a table or ticket is in by 11:30pm and the door is pretty quiet from 11:45pm-1:30am. Once people start to leave the hosts may get the OK to start negotiating lower table minimums for walk-ins to refill the tables, and they may reduce the cover charge or start waving in local girls to try and keep the club full, but realistically there are not a lot of people still looking for somewhere to go at 2am on NYE except for poorly-planned bachelor parties that are desperately trying to salvage the night.

XS will likely charge between $150-200 for NYE. Thats what they did when they had there grand opening and I think it included an hour of open bar from 9-10. Tables likely from $5K and up. As the strip is shut down, hotels require people to have tickets for an event or room/dinner reservations to enter the hotels after a certain point. Major high rollers will be at the casino parties till midnightish and may not get to the club till later if they are doing that. Tables are contracted out by location and have a $$$ minimum to the at Tryst and XS on NYE past. Table fees for better tables and autograt. Its actually too early to be procuring a NYE table in my opinion and the cost is not controlled by the hosts from what I understand. As people are pre-paying they have insured there entry and typically a specific table.

I didn't know about the tickets. Great to know. Thanks. The JC party is a great idea too, although It too early to make a decision, I'll wait to see what happens.
