Question on greasing the Host

So when I grease the host to walk me in with no cover at a Club, I usually give 10$ more than cover. So at XS i usually give em 40$ per male.

My question is, if I had girls in my group, should I have them tip as well? or Do host usually don't bother with girls tipping?

Wouldn't hurt if they threw in some cash (5-10?), but if not, it's probably all good if they are hot.

Just $10 more than cover? Seems way too cheap. If it would be that cheap i never would do anything else. I thought it's more cover + 40/50 per guy.

Make sure you guys grease the host (person writing your comp slips), not the door / ropes person Keep up your generous donations!

So when you get to the door you should ask the bouncer for the host and then grease the host? You couldn't grease the bouncer to get you past the line?

I ignore everyone that works there except for my direct host I m working with. Minutes before I approach the club, I m already texting my host.. he/she will tell me which area to find them. I find them, slip the appropriate grease and comp slip is written and line is skipped. If you guys dont have a relationship with your host, you can grease the doorguy and use that method as well.

When I was in Vegas last year, I greased the host $40ppx5=$200....we walked right-in and paid no cover. This was at Tryst on a Thursday night, dunno how it is on Fri and Sat.

yeah cover was comped ,,,,i usually use patrick frank, but this past weekend , he was on vacation, so I used Ryan Perrings, and I just told him this is what I usually give Patrick..

The only time I greased someone was back in 2008 for Pure. Group was 5 guys and 5 girls. Just paid $20x5 per guy ($100) and all got comped entry. Got a couple of drink vouchers too. Looking back this was very little and if I did it again I would have gave more.
