Looking for some information/reviews on the Spazmatics. Supposedly they play at the Crown eery Friday night. Cost is $10 cover and $35 all you can drink...want to know if the show is worth it and what kind of crowd attends the show.

Thanks for the information. So what is the crowd like at their concerts? Good mix of guys and girls, we don't want a sausagefest??

80's cover band and they put on a great show. Ratio is fine.

The Spazmatics have always been a local favorite, ever since I've lived in Vegas, since 2003. They used to play at Suncoast and House of Blues, but have since made their Saturday night home at the Showroom in South Point. This venue is much bigger than the previous two mentioned. Their performance is just as exciting and over-the-top. Their music and dress epitomize the 80's era. It has now gotten to the point where there is a cult following of fanatics who dress all-out in 80's apparel, hair, and makeup.

Are the Spazmatics like a franchise or something? I thought they were just a regular cover band but there's the Vegas Spazmatics, Chicago Spazmatics, Texas Spazmatics, NY Spazmatics, Seattle Spazmatics....

Yeah, I guess you could call them a franchise. I thought the LA/Vegas guys were the same group, and just bounced back and forth, but the LA Spazmatics play here in LB on Saturdays, so I'm guessing they're not. If you're into 80's music, it's a blast.

Also, Steel Panther plays at the House of Blues @ Mandalay Bay every once and a while. They're an 80's "hair band"/metal cover group. If you get a chance to see them, GO, they're amazing. They used to be called Metal Skool and they've been around for YEARS. Always have celebs on stage with them when they play the Key Club in LA.

Don't forget to pack your Aqua Net!!!
Oh, P-tr-ck, I STILL need to borrow your German Leg Breaking Machine....Thx.

HA that's funny I've seen the Cleveland Spazmatics all around here in Cleveland and they dress like the Revenge of the Nerds. I've heard of Steel Panther too interesting group.
I have not yet begun to defile myself.
