Sunday - Wet Republic (5/5)

I know I review Wet like 5 times every year, and this year I only reviewed Wet once. I gotta close out 2010 with one final review after going to Wet four times this summer. This particular time was different then the others. I have been to Wet all days of the week except for Sunday. Instead of Rehab (didn't want to deal with standing amongst general admission people), EBC ( a little too tame and Kaskade wasn't there), I chose Wet on Sunday.
Thomas Gorman is one solid host. My crew got there at about 10:45, got organized and we were pretty much the first ones to walk in through the VIP admissions line with no wait. He set us up with this sweet daybed location, center, pool side and right below the bungalows. Within seconds we were greeted with modelesque hostesses. PIC:
Actually 2 of them were catering to us at the time because we were really the first ones there. I got my bottle ordered, and the rest of my crew ordered pitchers.
Later in the day we got hungry, and its almost a Wet tradition to order some chicken fingers to go with your booze. They come with criss cut fries, and it just definitely help you stomach all the alcohol you will be consuming over the course of the day.
At about 1PM is officially when the party really kicked off. The music shifts from dance house to hard electro house, so we know its on and cracking. Girls were wearing G-strings, body builders were flexing for the girls with G-strings. This is what Wet is all about.
I ended up being sole survivor at the day bed. I m not sure if the bombs ( all vodka, shot of mixer for coloring) got to the rest of my crew. Needless to say they left early and were to never heard from again. Sucks for them cause they missed a sick pool party at XS. Anyway for all my troubles I managed to secure one of these shirts for my memories. PIC:
Yes its touristy, but hey I think I earned it after all the business I bring to Wet on a regular basis.

The best part of this setup was that were a quick walk away from the Jacuzzi, which we took full advantage of later in the evening. The hostess brought out our champagne, and we made sure everyone got a good drink out of it to celebrate a successful trip PIC of Toast: 
The ladies in the daybed next to us forgot their bathing suits, and they just jumped in with bra and g-strings. It was funny cause the whole time we thought they were actually in bikinis until one of them turned around and got out of the water dripping wet. Hello...
