I definitely think Steve Wynn is out of his mind for doing this. Everytime I have dealt with Dave he has been nothing but professional and curteous. We have some couches at EBC in a few hours..i will keep you guys posted if we run into any issues.Comment

wow, this just made me lose A LOT of respect for Wynn. i am staying at Encore for Halloween weekend and NYE weekend, but now i kinda wished i had taken my business elsewhere (not that it would have made even the most minor dent in his bottom line....). Just the principal of the thing i guess haha. i am super bummed though, Dave is a GREAT guy. I am sure somewhere else will be eager to pick up such a professional and well respected person!! i know everyone on this board supports him to the fullest no matter where he goes next if this is true!"Cause when I get my card back activated I'm back to Vega$$"

With all due respect to Dave, he did kind of push his luck with that post.
It's one thing to make good-natured fun of a direct supervisor that you have a working relationship with, it's another thing to publicly post a personal joke that vaguely implies some unspecified eccentricities about your 68-year old billionaire CEO.
Regardless of whatever Steve Wynn and Dave's personal relationship is, or even if they have ever met each other, the post implied to the public that Dave disrespected him.
Steve's nightclub employees have gotten an overnight reputation as being loose cannons and regardless of how good Dave's work was, Steve has a bigger need to demonstrate to his investors and to the NGCB that he is in total control of his empire.Comment
