Well, that is definitely interesting news. So what's the word on this, a good thing, bad thing? Really don't know what to think.

it'd be weird to have two decent clubs inside one hotel, operating presumably on the same nights....

How much difference does the management really make to the average person visiting the club though? Surely they're going to have an equally good time if it's run by AMG or anyone else.

Probably not much in the short run, but longer term you have to see their track record in running top tier clubs. I think AMG is successful in Wet Republic, but in nightlife I think they run studio 54 and rok? Not exactly the cream of the crop.

It really doesn't for a tourist, but for a local, its a punch in the @#$%.

I have put in work at HRH, doing outings, even in the blizzard of 2008 (yes it snowed in vegas) i walked 73 people into wasted space on a wed for our outing. I have been building a relationship with everyone, to the point where Im getting comp"d dance floor tables and 2 btls mins on major holiday weekends.

I have never been to 54 or Tabu, and only once (required by manager) have I been to rok. which means i wont have the same pull I do now, which means i wont be going there, which means I wont be sending them any clients or referrals.

Yes, think of the people that they promote to, I dont want to be in the same club with the 54 crowd.

The one thing i will say is AMG has been for a while now involved in the promotions side of Godskitchen, buts thats such a small part of the Vanity brand

No, I was a VIP host at numerous clubs in Las Vegas over the past couple years.
