  • The Gun Store

In planning some day to day activities for a trip in December, I thought paying the Gun Store a visit would be cool. Has anyone gone and tried this out? How is it? For a $100, you can shoot the following: H/K MP5 SMG w/50 Rds, Semi- Automatic Rifle w/10 Rds, 12ga Shotgun w/5 Rds. Doesn't seem to bad of a deal. I'm sure this would do wonders for a hangover too.

if you want to go to the gun store .. GO!

its a great experience but its pricey and it goes by FAST!! I remember going about 2 years ago and it was about 100 bucks for 2 automatic rentals and 2 full clips for each gun. those bullets fly fast and before you know it.. your out I just remember firing an M16... but i forgot what was the other one.

the deal youre getting sounds so much better than what i paid. Getting a wide range of guns to shoot is nice

Its something that you dont get to do often so when the opportunity is there.. take it!

They move you in and out FAST, but if you've never fired an automatic rifle I say do it. I thought it was a ball to go from never shooting a gun to shooting a M16 and M249.

yeah i went last summer, it WAS really fun but yes it did not last long (the taxi ride over there was longer, lol) and yes it was expensive with a capital E. i don't know where your package rate is coming from but i know i paid at least 350-400 for 2 of us- i had the WWII package, forget which one he had, and then we also had extra rounds and a private room so we didn't have to both shoot at the same time. i will say if you do go, and have video capability on your camera/phone, use it, don't be an idiot like i was and forget to memorialize it. although i did keep my bin laden target....

                Exactly!

Here's the link I found for the $100 package.

                http://thegunstorelasvegas.com/store...e-package.html

The WII package is $120. The "shoot the wall" package is the heavy hitter at $400.

Appreciate the feedback as always! Can't wait! I figured they would run us in and out of the range as quickly as possible.

I shot an M249 there last time, which was the coolest thing in the entire world, but I think this time I might mix it up a bit and get a few different guns.

wanted to do this for my boy's bachelor party but forgot... and drinking at the pool was to hard to get away from. Sounds great for a winter trip. I would love to try it next time out.
