We're heading out Oct 23 for three nights. We had wanted to do the pool thing and understand that most are closed with a few exceptions but that the weather may not be lounging by the pool weather.

So, given that, what some other good day activities beside the usual gambling and sleeping.
Am I the only one that walks into a Subway and says, "It smells like O'Shea's in here."

    Upcoming trips!

Shopping. Catch an early show. Eat. That's all you can really do if you don't want to go to the pool and gamble.

eat, walk various parts of the strip, walk through various new hotels/casinos (citycenter, etc), venture to Downtown Las Vegas/ Fremont street and check out the older and more budget friendly places. Walk through various casino/hotels, bring out child in you and play a few hours of Circus Circus games...

Pools will probably still be open, just not some of the pool parties. The regular pool at the MGM was packed and Wet Republic still open when I was there last Oct around the 16/17/18. The weather should be PERFECT that time of year, so you can get out and wander during the day and be touristy!
Oh, P-tr-ck, I STILL need to borrow your German Leg Breaking Machine....Thx.

I am still not giving up hope on the pool! I may need to go play with the pretty shoes over at Caesars. I'm also afraid of letting my bf into O'Shea's. Midgets, gambling and liquor. He may never leave.

Pools can still be possible. Check this thread:
