Ok so i just got back from my trip on Thurs, and I miss it dearly!!!!! We had an awesome time but it seems like clubs just weren't my thing. We went to TAO on Saturday which was INSANELY busy (u couldn't even move) What I don't get is how people function with no where to sit, and how people manage to pay 450-1000$ for table service..or 500-1000$ to reserve daybeds and cabanas? Is there anyways to get around these insane prices? It would be great to know this for my next trip. Hosts helped us out with cover and wait times, (we never paid cover or stood in line) and we never actually met any of them...

    any tips?

as long as there is demand, the prices are staying up and going up. People will need to lessen their standards if they want to pay less. Clubs are not a 'not for profit' area of the hotel. Anything they can turn into a revenue maker, they will.

I hear you can get a cabana all day for $75 at the Orleans, so there is a market for every budget...

Mishi - I get where you're coming from. They may be the hottest clubs but I'm just not a huge fan of being crammed like sardines and having a drink spilled on me every 15 minutes.

If that scene isn't your thing there ain't nothin' wrong with that. There are lounges you can go to that are more laid back and where bottle service is either much more reasonable or where you could actually find a place to sit.

If you don't want to drop $500 a day or a night, don't do it. It's up to you. If you say they're not your thing, why save up massive amounts of money to spend it somewhere you're not full into? Figure your your fun, figure you budget and bring good people.
Am I the only one that walks into a Subway and says, "It smells like O'Shea's in here."

                  Upcoming trips!

+1, Vegas can be fun anywhere. Most of the people I know (none forum related) don't go to Vegas mainly for the club scene if they even go to a megaclub at all and still have crazy fun times. Even myself didn't really start partying hard at the clubs in Vegas until the last couple years.

very good point, and thanks for ur support. I do love to dance..lounges can be good too...overall i found i had way more fun at the pool parties than i did at the club...but when i could dance it was a great time. If there is good music though I'm generally very happy!!! i'll have to get some tips on good lounges for the next trip!

I pretty much have one of those for all the major hotels But V-bar is great since everyone parties either at Tao, XS or Tryst nowdays.

What's wrong with Blush? I haven't been, but don't think I'ev seen anything negative from people who have.
