Travelling with a bunch of guys

Hi all,

I have been an observer of this forum as I have been planning my upcoming trip to Vegas for LDW.

My issue is that at night I will be part of a group of anywhere from 5-9 guys.

Most are Vegas first-timers and as their resident veteran, have put me in charge of planning. We will mostly be partying.

All I want is for us not to get embarrassed at the doors of the clubs/pool parties, that wouldn't be a good first-time experience for my buddies. We are doing bottles on the Saturday, so that is set. But if we simply want g-list or guaranteed access to the clubs (namely: XS, Vanity, and Tao) what would you suggest? We wouldn't be against paying someone (promoter?) a bit more for this convenience. I just want to know that when we arrive at the club, we're getting in without too much hassle.

You can just line up about 30 minutes before the club opens at XS and get in without hassle. Pay cover and you're done. They are a big club and need to fill up ...

You can generally also grease the doorman (make sure it's a suited guy with the clipboard). 30-50 a guy.

Or for Tao, you can go buy wristbands online somewhere or go eat dinner at Tao the night you want to go there and ask the waiter if you could get stamped.

yea, i personally vouch for either thing that Drew said about Tao. I had 7 guys last friday night there and we got stamped at dinner. You dont even leave the restaurant as the entrance to the club is in the restaurant. Or you can go the wristband route as well with no problems as we had already bought the wristbands and got in that way.

If all else fails. As a last resort. You could ask a group of girls to join up with you to even out your numbers. Keep in mind a group of girls have it easy already in Vegas. They will be doing you a favor so you would probably have to offer them something. Maybe buy them a drink. Also opens up an opportunity to chat it up too.

I had a group of guys when we went to the Encore Beach Club. Had connections to walk in for free so we asked a group of girls to walk in for free with us. Also bought them a round of drinks too.

for LDW.. the bigger clubs.. even tho big will have such a draw they will happily pick girls and people around you if your a big group... take drews advise and forget about the lines!!! just sayin :-D

I whole heartedly agree with the bolded. What do you presume the minimum that will be accepted is? And the max that should be offered?

well.. knowing you will have to pay cover on top of this is good to know.. also.. keep in mind.. most clubs would gladly turn a party of 5 guys or more.. unless buying 2 bottles ranging up to $1,300.. so.. keep this in mind when making an offer... 30 or so a guy is acceptable most places... or depending when you arrive to the door.. 1-2.5 hours of waiting is normal and a good club
