Labor Day Weekend, VIP Host or not?

Coming out Sep 2-5 for a bachelor party 8 guys total. Im pulling my hair out trying to decide if i should book direct through a host or use a vip hosting service for bottle service. We were originally going to go to Mix or Voodoo but changed our mind and want to go to Tao, Pure, Jet, or XS. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The guys from those hosting companies give me a feeling like I'm talking with a used car salesman or someone pitching a pyramid scheme. I've never seen a reason to use them and generally do anything I can to let them know I have no interest in them being within 100 feet of me.

Exactly, you're basically paying them to handle all the work of planning and talking directly with the club hosts. Problem is that you don't know if their table reservations will be bumped by a more senior host. The contacts on the main page are senior hosts who will get you a table, and you eliminate the middleman. It's really not as hard as it sounds, trust me. You'll be surprised how straightforward the club hosts are.

I read where Jack said he advised against but he also said for bachelor parties and holiday weekends they may be a good idea. Were really open to the club we go to. Im open to any suggestions. I heard back from the host at JEt and Pure. Both had a 2 bottle minimum for Friday which i think is fair. The host companies were significantly higher though. The last thing i want to happen is to walk up and not have our table. Thanks again for any help. I dont think i would be worrying about it if it wasnt LDW.

For a holiday weekend, you can pretty much go anywhere and you'll have a good time. We have our forum favorites here on the site that include Tryst, XS, Vanity, Surrender. But you can pretty much go to almost any club and it will be insane and filled with people, so have fun.

Im looking at bottle service at Lavo on the sunday night on Labour weekend. Contacted the host given on this site and was told its a 2 bottle minimum totaling $1152 after tax and grat. just wondered if you guys thought it was a good price and the right place to be checking out that night?

Ok need some more Advice. Got all the pricing and bottle minimums for the places i wanna go. Now my cheap friends want to stay with Voodoo Lounge since bottles of Goose are only $325. The question is, will we have a good time at Voodoo Lounge with a patio table or should i cover the difference and go to Jet or Tao. I would be spending about $500 or so extra. Thanks for any advice .

I guess it's what you and your friends are looking for... you can have a good time anywhere with booze and people. Voodoo has nice views and it'll help that it's a holiday weekend, cause everywhere gets busier, but it's not really a club and the most trendiest party place.

Being that you're a bunch of dudes out for a bachelor party, you'll likely want to live and party it up to the max... then pony up the cash and hit a top club ( Tao instead of Jet... or hit up Vanity, XS). Of course I could be wrong and you guys are all in your 40's married and this is the last man standing... then maybe voodooo

As far as vodoo, Ive been on a Friday. Good view, but youll have a better mix of 35+ there than Tao. Theres still young people there. The girls we picked up were low 20s, just more of a really mixed crowd.
