Honeymoon-Encore or Aria??

Hello all, lately I've been posting only about my bachelor party, but I also wanted to ask everyone's opinions about the Vegas portion of my honeymoon.

We're currently booked at Aria for a ridiculous rate in a regular deluxe room with a request for an upgrade to a corner suite (which the concierge said they generally give to Honeymooner's). Based on what I've been reading though, Aria seems more and more iffy, especially for a honeymoon. So I've been thinking of switching over to Encore, because they also have ridiculous rates through some promo's, some of which I've found on this site. It would be a regular resort king room at Encore.

So my questions, since I've never been to either resort, is what would you suggest and why? I imagine most will say Encore because of the luxury aspect and it's a honeymoon, etc, but I'm looking for a bit more as to why than that. Thank you in advance for your help!!

What are you looking for on your honeymoon? What do you want to do? Do you want private/romantic? Do you want to be in the mix with all the nightlife? If you just generically ask me between Aria/Encore then I would pick Encore without a doubt.

You need to tell us something you desire or want in a hotel.

well, my fiance and i have both stayed at probably over half the hotels in vegas, but just never either one of these. i guess i just want to know peoples opinions of both, since ive read good and bad of both. since it's a honeymoon, we probably want more luxurious/romantic, so i probably answered my own question, lol. but still, since we've never been to either, i just like getting a read from others, especially trusted members here.

Encore if you've never been.
Aria is hit or miss based on reviews for JC members.
I've never heard a bad review of Encore.

Encore seems like it would be better suited for a honeymoon. I've never stayed there, but I've been in the rooms/seen pics and they seem more fitting for this occasion.

aria is great and all but if you're going for your honeymoon i'd definitely choose encore over aria

Plus, Encore has that class and vibe of Vegas luxury. I swear every time I step into that Casino I hear Frank Sinatra in the back of my head.

I would suggest encore. It just screams luxury. I think it would be a more memorable experience.

Aria is a bit sanitized.

Thanks all for the help...ended up cancelling Aria and going with Encore. Almost went with Palazzo over both, but for over $200 cheaper, figured Encore was the better bet. Thanks again.

i was just at palazzo this week, it's honestly really nice and luxurious over aria but encore is just over the top with their rooms and more romantic. i wouldn't mind staying at palazzo again, but this is your honeymoon trip so go all out for encore!
