Just came back from a bomb time in Vegas and I wanted to point out a really really dope place to hang out if you wanna get out of the blistering sun and the crowded streets.
I've seen a few posts in other threads about it but I wanted to bring it to everyone's attention because we had a good time there.
If you haven't already, go check out the Rhumbar at the Mirage. They have a happy hour special $5 Millers and Sam Adams and $5 Stoli drinks. The indoor section is very nicely done up with all white tiles/seats/etc and the outdoor lounge is the perfect place to relax from a hangover or nurture a buzz. They have comfortable couches and seats with comfy cushions all set up and they have the misters set up around almost all (if not all) the seating areas so you can enjoy the sun and have an aura of cooling mist around you.
They play an assortment of funk/disco/reggae which really sets the mood for a good social time to kickback and relax.
The $5 Stolis were good. A little on the weak side (although our tolerances are all relatively high) but after several rounds we got a slight headchange. But can you complain for $5 drinks?
As for the regular priced drinks, they were moderate, ranging from $8-15 (if I remember correctly). These drinks were pretty strong, my friend got one and it had a very good kick to it.
Definitely a place to check out if you're in between clubbing or whatever it is you're doing.
My friend's and I loved it. Can anyone else throw in a vouch for this place?
