  • The Place to be Friday Night?

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on Friday night clubs? I am keen on house music so keen on a club that plays that music and has a great atmosphere.

We are looking at either Palms Rain/Moon all access pass, Surrender, Tao, Tyrst for Friday nite. Let me know what you guys think off those place for Friday night. Going to XS sat so that is all covered.

    Cheers

Same question. Also, what constitutes "house" in Vegas? Dirty south, swedish house mafia, Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez, Sander K, Lawler (styes and tracks, not the DJs themselves obviously)? All-night sets or just the odd mashup/Ghosts n Moar thrown in? I saw there's a perfecto party which if it means the label perfecto (i.e Oakie) then I imagine it to be dedicated and proper.

Does XS ever have anything dance-ish (i.e. electronic dance music) or is it always top 40/hip hop? I know Surrender is sposed to have Aokie on fridays, but unless he is doing something completely different than normal, I wouldn't say that would be loungey house, not even close. More like extreme electro. Is that the case for those of you who've been on a friday?

a lot of people have reviews about XS and mentioned it was very electronic music type rather than top40. when i was there it seem more electronic music then top 40. and if it was top 40 it was a club mix of it so it seems more electronic.

Check with Cole about Surrender. I figured since Surrender is a Wynn club, they would cater more to the general public (non-house fans) on a Friday night. I know Perfecto is definitely a cross between House/Trance. None of the clubs in vegas do hardstyle techno that I know of.

Doesn't Steve Aoki have residency at either XS or Surrender on Fridays? look into that cuz Steve throws it down.
