Wasted Space Officially Announced To Be Closing....

Sad news to report, what we all knew was coming has officially been announced. Human Resources came into Wasted Space's pre-shift last night and gave staff official notice that the club will be closing to make way for a sportsbook.

They won't know an official date for another few weeks, but said that they are supposed to be good at least through October.

Like the Rehab changeover, this is another move from the new Hard Rock President, Joseph Magliarditi. Notably,the same new President who basically shut down the casino floor during the busy July 4th weekend for minor renovations. (sorry, had to throw that in there, haha).

Expect more [asinine] changes to the Hard Rock.....

Sky's the limit with the boneheaded moves this guy will bring to that property. He truly may run this place into the ground. Shame too, used to be one of my favorites. Oh well off to the strip the business will go!

That's bad news to members here. It was considered a forum fav based on their twitter deals and atmosphere. I do agree that closing Wasted Space sounds like the wrong move to make.

Oh wow, that sucks. A sports book kind of seems out of place with the HRH's whole vibe. I can get that anywhere on the strip and probably at a much better service than what the HRH can offer. BUUUT, a decent sports book will definitely be lower to maintain and generates easier revenue than what Wasted Space could pull. Still, a detriment to the overall feel of the property.

Business wise, it was definitely a stupid move..however the hockey fan in me was hurting pretty bad to find a good tv to watch the playoffs during invasion. Maybe some how they can keep the hardrock vibe going.

I actually had a stay booked there for later this month after some things they have pulled in the last 24 hours with a friend of mine. "Joseph" certainly is making things hard on himself. We shall see where his approach gets them
