August 13-15 - Suggestions please!

Hey all,

I'll be heading to Vegas Aug 13-15 with a group of around 12 that should be even ratio of guy:girl. Does anyone know if there's any events going on that weekend? Any suggestions compared to what is tentatively planned?

Tentative schedule is:

• Friday Night - Tryst (group wants Tryst, XS, or Surrender)
• Saturday Day - Pool party
• Saturday Night - XS/Surrender (whichever we didn't get to go to Friday)
• Sunday - Drive home

Is it best to try to get on a guestlist? Also, if we want to go to a pool party, would Liquid at Aria be best since we're staying at Aria? Thanks for the help!

I'm going to be staying at the Aria that weekend as well. With a group of 12, I would highly recommend sticking to bottle service. If you do guestlist, you might want to split the group up a little bit. maybe have the girls do guestlist at a pool party and then make a daybed reservation for the six guys.

I've been to Tryst and XS and they are both crazy times. They are also both at the top of the pyramid when it comes to crowded clubs. You're going to have a tough time getting into them without tables on those nights. And even with tables, your bottle minimums are going to be pretty high. Depending on your budgets, you might want to check out some of the other clubs as well. My group is getting Buy one get one free bottles on friday and saturday nights.

Liquid, from everything I've heard, is just okay. Haven't heard any amazing reviews about it yet. IF you're doing a pool party on Saturday, I'd recommend Wet Republic at the MGM. Although, staying at the Aria, you might get offered incentives to visit Liquid.

One last thing, with a group that big, there will probably be people looking for afterhours partying as well. I've been to Drai's before and had fun but we're going to be checking out Crazy Horse 3 this time around. Darryl, one of the hosts that frequents this site, runs that spot and it's supposed to be a pretty crazy time late night.

I'll be there the same weekend - I think it's Lavo's 2nd year anniversary on Friday, but my group will be getting a table at Surrender.

I went to Lavo's 1st year anniversary, was in the section behind the dancers, and had a great time, but we're looking to go to new venues this time.

So no point in trying to get guestlist for Surrender Friday and XS Saturday? Looks to be 8 girls/6 guys Friday and 12 girls/7 guys Saturday. Just wondering if it'd pay off to contact the direct hosts listed on the site.

you can try contacting them but for xs saturday i don't think a guestlist really exist. you can try to pay off hosts but it'd be pretty high for a group of 7 guys.
