Hi! I'm looking at staying either at aria or mgm with another girl. we're in our mid 20s and really looking to have a good time. What is everyone's opinion about these 2 hotels??

aria is pretty nice and brand new. i stayed there in june and i liked it a lot. not too far from the strip or anything.
mgm is a bit on the cheaper side and since it's only you and another girl it might be better off since you won't really be spending that much time in the rooms compared to going out the whole time your there.
both are owned by the same people but if you want the newer/high tech room go for aria. if you just want a place you can sleep and get ready in and don't really care for room features then go for mgm and save yourself a buttload of money2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). Another vote for MGM. The hotel has a great vibe to it and one of the best pool areas on the strip. Rooms are a bit dated but nice in size with extremely comfortable beds. There are lots are eating choices and some decent nightlife there as well.

MGM's pretty nice I must say and you can get a really good deal there from time to time. I've been dying to try the Aria since I hear nothing but good things from friends, but I'm young and thrifty so I tend to steer more towards the better deals. Like they've already said...you'll probably not spend so much time in the rooms so...MGM!Comment

I agree with one of the other answers. If your look for a newer room with more features then the Aria is better but if you just want a decent size place to lay your head get back to the party then the MGM will work. I've stayed at the MGM 3 times 2 of those expieriences were almost flawless, but my last one left a bad taste in my mouth, Pause. All I can say is:The west wing rooms are nice, just small, DONT STAY IN THE BUNGALOW SUITES IN THE MGM and the Signature Suites are AMAZING.

umm...ok, lol..........We gotta a high standard in hotels, especially when they have certain Price tag on them. So my first two stays at the MGM had all the featuers you expect Ipod radio in the signature, Bose radio in the West Wing room. Flat screens in the West Wing, Flat screens that rise out of the desk in the sig. HUGE bathrooms wit jacuzzi tubs, etc.....So I guess my hope was high, and the "bungalow suite" was just a plain ass room with old ass t.v.s (one of em you had to stick your fingers inside the whole where the power button should've been to turn it on). old ass showers with half way broken knobs, stains on the couch. yea no prob...but we pretty much did like anyone else in vegas said "whatever" cuz u really only spend about 4 (to sleep) in the room, if that..haBEEZIE!!!!....In Iraq ti April but possible vegas explosion Mememorial Day Weekend 2011.....
