oh and also...how necessary is it really for only 2 girls to have to contact a host to get into places? because of our small group size, will the host even pay attention to us??

Yes, contact the hosts and definitely SKIP those VIP passes. Like Moezilla said, you should not being paying cover for most places (except for Rehab).

Just discovered this website and found lots and lots of good info. Really excited about my trip (aug 5-9)!

Questions: how hard is it for 2 girls to get into the clubs?? when should we contact the hosts?? and who to contact??
how do the hosts help with daytime pools??
and how much are we looking at spending for cover for clubs and pools?? just a ballpark range to help the rest of the trip planning. any restos that are must-go's??
how to get to the shopping area?? taxi?? walk?? shuttle??

Girls rarely have to pay to get into clubs, as long as they work their assets properly. The pools are a little tougher, I think, but hey you two can probably get in gratis!

I will be there along with my Vegas Blowout team from Aug 5 to 8. Our agenda is:

Tao on Thursday night
Wet Republic for Friday pool fun
LAVO or Moon on Friday night
Encore Beach Club for Saturday pool fun
Tryst on Saturday night

If you find yourself in any of those places and you get thirsty stop by for a drink or a shot!

Think everyone has clubs covered for you so I'll add this...Julian Serrano at Aria/City Center is fantastic. I'm going again for sure when I get back to Vegas.
