Tipping for bottle service

Hi guys i've been browsing the JC forum for a while now and wanna say how great it is,love your work.
I popped my cherry in 06 and i've been back 07,08 and now sep 2010 arguably best place on the planet.
I have a few questions about tipping when getting bottle service and i know its included in the bill but.....

Do i tip the the person taking me to the table and if so how much to get a decent location?

The gaurd that minds our table/brings ice/servers are they included in the final bill(cheque) or will slipping them a note give us any privilege or is it being generous?

Finally may be off topic but i also used a host to walk us in only and after he got his nominated fee does he too need to be tipped?

tipping for bottle service when you pay at the end is for your waitress and clean up waiter who helps keep your table uncluttered with finished drinks and refills ice. I believe that tip also includes the security in your area also. But it would be nice to slip him an extra 20-40 at the beginning of the night to keep an eye on like say girls clutches/cameras that are on the couch. He'll make sure to keep an extra on your table.

as for the host, i'd say 200-400 would be a good tip for a decent/good location. 500+ if you want somewhat of prime location and location also depends a bit on how much you agree to spending on that night. Your host and the person walking you in should be the same person so you shouldn't be tipping more than once before getting to your table.

Case in point, this is a transcript of a real event:

Me: Hey, I'm gonna hit the dance floor for a bit - can you keep an eye on my water?
Security: I can't promise the staff won't come by and toss it out
Me: (With $5 in hand) Hey, I'm gonna hit the dance floor for a bit - can you keep an eye on my water?
Security: It'll be here waiting for you.

Not only did he look after it, but he even sought me out on the dance floor, asked if I needed some water, and then took it back to the table.

I wish more thought like you... sadly your mistaken in 1 area... the security isnt included in the final cheque... so throw him a lil sumthin.. if hes worth it. if not.. then oh welll.

depends... if you tip me once.. i got you all weekend.. but all are different... most expect i... I only want what you think I deserve.. Quite RARE in vegas...
