lol...I saw that! So funny! There is going to be tons of Jersey costumes!

Maybe dressing up like the situation will help me with the ladies? , how about the situation with the deadmau head? Hmmmm probably not

Here's where I'm at so far. The BlackBerry camera doesn't do the head justice just yet. I spent the better part of watching our lowly Lions go 0-3 yesterday mapping out some of the items along with how to open up one of the 5" openings and draw the mouth on the bottom portion for sectioning.



Head disassembled and ready for cutting with a dremel tool. I think I need to go pick up some polycarbonate blades tomorrow though. My 4-year old digs this costume and wonders where the dead mouse is all the time...



Ears and material- ears may need a bit of more shapping to them but the contour to fit the ball is good. Debating on getting some threaded rod to assemble the ears to the head with a nut and washer setup versus hot gluing the ears to the head.

Is the foam dense enough for threaded rod? I have 1/8" thick craft wood thinking about increasing it to 1/4".

I put 2 packs of 8" x 5 yards of plaster gauze over a 14 " beach ball. I also located some pretty dope purple battery powered lights ...... Took some pics, I just got home from work, let's see if I can throw a hour at it

I'll find out I guess. Can't be any worse that using hot glue or gorilla glue. Maybe threaded rod and glue as a duel enforcement for the ears.
