  • Dress code....1st time in vegas!!!

Going 2 vegas in sept 4 first time for a week and not sure about the dress code for the clubs, iv had a look about and sites just say shoes, jeans and shirts......which is fair enough.
7 Nights....7 Shirts is a bit boring tho, wat else is acceptable to get in wearing???
    Thanks

Spice it up with ties, vests, jackets, etc.?

Also, at bars that aren't clubs, you can get away with polo shirts and stuff and I think the Hard Rock places will let you get away with a trendy t shirt.

If you go to Tao, were shoes. They are very strict there.

dress shoes man.. wear em so you're guaranteed to get in. Only on slow days (some thursdays, not friday and not saturday) they will allow you to get in with tennis shoes.

I always take good shoes... i hate having to go back to my room and lose another 90 mins of club fun.

Even on Thursdays at Tao they are STILL strict about dress code. Better to dress prepared then to take a chance.

my experience is this for the good high-end clubs, such as Tao, XS, Tryst, etc.

#1, dress shoes. They don't mess around with that. Sometimes they're so anal, nice swede sneaks won't get you in. I know this from experience. I couldn't even bribe my way through.
#2, you can never go wrong with jeans. jeans will always be accepted anywhere, anytime. Just keep them clean cut and don't wear the torn ones to be safe.
#3 collared shirt or anything else that gives off the formal vibe, like shirt n tie, full suit, trendy shirt and blazer, cashmere sweater over collared shirt, etc. hope you get the picture.

I don't try anything but leather shoes at Tao and Tryst. I only deviate at Vanity, Pure and LAX.

tao is the only one i know that is really strict, the guys that check you in in the middle of the line even commented on my friends nice diesel shoes and said he couldn't get in with those so ended up ruining his night cause he didn't listen to me and bring dress shoes.. Next morning he went to target and got cheap 30 dollar dress shoes for XS cause he didn't want a repeat

The hot spots now can afford to be strict.....tipping 20 bucks .......alot of guys there will take your dough and make you wait for that ......try a 100 .......money talks in Vegas ....If you go out ,promise me one thing .......have fun ....but dont try too hard .....too many guys go to Vegas and put on this stupid show [ overly cheesy and trendy clothes] ,just be yourself , dont drink or party too much [ you will keep your edge and seem cooler to chicks than all of the other jack offs running around pretending to be something they are not and acting like fools ].

Also remember local girls are mostly looking to make a living and respect that [ so dont waste your time hitting on waitresses , bartenders , dancers , ect....] If you wanna score ,find the girls from out of town that are looking to be wild and trying to blow off some steam [ girls really take that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas thing to a new level ].......believe me , they are everywhere. Dont approach big groups , catch them by themselves and you will have fun no matter what club you end up at .......just be yourself [except alittle more aggressive , cause every guy is looking to score that is from out of town ]dont get too fucked up , and I promise that you will have some stories to tell us when you get back [ you better share ....lol ] Have a great trip and stay safe ................

They've said it before. I'll say it again, shoes.

Hats are a hit and miss, my buddy will get in wearing a fedora sometimes but the best I've gotten was a "hat check" for the Broncos hat.
