The Venetian

Might be staying here for my trip because I'm gonna be hitting up TAO for dinner + stamp, so I was planning to just head back up to the room and pregaming it for a bit and then just coming back down and getting back in.


Thoughts/experiences with the Venetian anyone?

Never noticed the smell. But the walking to the rooms is atrocious according to most reviews.

I just stayed at the Venetian about 3 weeks ago. Walks to the rooms arent bad. I just heard the Venezia tower is the maze one.

As long as you get the Venetian tower, its pretty straight forward.

Conversely, the Palazzo is sickly awesome, doesn't really have a smell (I think the smell @ Venetian is the blue dye from the water), and an example of mega-hotel design efficiency that should be replicated.

Always worth the $20 sandwich at check-in. Has worked for me every time!

So Palazzo over the Venetian maybe? I think they're pretty much the same prices. I'll have to double check again though.

The Venetian is my favorite hotel!! Although have yet to stay at the Palazzo or Encore, which I hear are nice.

If you are with AOD, your senses should be there to experience the smell. I don't recall walking in and out of venetian sober at any point the last few trips. But I will be staying there for the secret trip in a suite. I will keep you guys posted!

Check in at the Venetian, drop the sandwich trick for $20 or $50, you pick, and ask if they can move you to the Palazzo.

you could just book the palazzo straight up? haha they're all pretty much the same price at either hotel. save yourself 20 for the tables.
