July 30 weekend - first time in vegas

need resturants, nightclubs, shopping and any other fun activities!

its all our first time so we will be wandering around aimlessly! it would be greatly appreciated if there are any tips or insider info we can get to make our trip memorable as we rarely ever see each other nonetheless go on vacation together!

It's a lot to take in for your first trip so I would do as much planning as possible. Once you get there it will go fast so make sure that you have a good idea of what you want to do and make some arrangements ahead of time. Most of the people on here like to party a little bit so there is a ton of information on nightclubs and pool parties . I wish that I could do my first trip all over again but I can't even remember when that was.

make sure you get on guestlist for XS or you might have to pay. Or if anything contact a host to see if you can skip the lines with 4 girls it shouldn't be too hard to.

If XS doesn't work out you can always go to Tryst @ Wynn which is a bit easier to get into and almost the same as XS.

There's plenty of malls around for you guys to shop in, there's the miracle mile mall which is across from Aria at Planet Hollywood but there's also the typical girl stores like LV, Tiffanys, Coach etc... right at Aria in the mall next to it. Then there's the forum shops at caesars palace.

There's a cafe at Aria I ate at when i stayed there i really recommend but I can't remember the name. I believe it was Cafe Vettro

XS on Sat is much busier so you might want to do XS on Fri and Pure on Sat. Several times we've had reservations set for XS on Sat and had the club flake on us because of some special event that comes up.

Vegas tries to cater to all kinds of tastes, so there are plenty of things to do other than eat, shop, and party.
You can go siteseeing to all the different hotels and the exibitions they offer as well as shows like Cirque du Soleil productions. You girls probably could do like a spa day together and get pampered. Lounging by the Pool is always an option. You can go tour the Grand Canyon and the desert nearby. There's helicopter tours available for that too, or fly over the Las Vegas strip on a helictoper tour. There's also skydiving. There's Rollercoasters at NYNY and Stratosphere.

... and that's still leaving out all the stuff you mentioned like fine dining crappy dining and everything in between, tons and tons of shopping, and of course drinking and partying and just going crazy.

That weekend will also be our first weekend in Vegas. We are going to XS on Friday, since it might be less of a hassle than Saturday. Instead we opted for Tryst on Saturday. I heard Pure isnt what it used to be.

Pure is not what it used to be. I still have a soft spot for it because it's the first club I went to and on a five night roster, something has to be fifth.

But newbies will want to go to XS, Vanity, Tao, Surrender before Pure.

we will be there july 30 to aug 3 but flying out early on the 3rd, so really only there 4 nights

tao is one of clubs on our list. as well as tryst, but XS is our first choice. we really only plan on going clubbing saturday night and sunday night since two of us has tickets to watch O on friday night and the other girl doesnt arrive until saturday morning.
