Labor Day Weekend and its Costs?

My brother, a friend and I are coming to vegas from sept 1 to sept 7 and we will be there for labor day weekend!

I was just wondering what types of prices we will be looking at considering its a holiday and what not. Such as... cover charges to get into a club ect.

I did a search and couldnt find anything.

im really looking for what type of charges there will be for cover if we were to wait in line.

Honestly, waiting in line on a holiday weekend for guys is almost pointless. Id at least contact a host and try to grease. Cover is hard to judge on a holiday because they usually dont decide what it is until the day of based on what kind of numbers they think there gonna pull that night. A lot of host will tell you that cover will prob be $100 just to play it safe, but I think it usually ends up around $50-$75.

Bottles at most major clubs will have a $100 service charge per bottle. Mins will usually be higher everywhere.

If your definitely going to wait in line, Id get there at least 30mins before the venue opens.

+1 ... as much as I want to see the LDW DJs at Wet, I think I have a better time with the JC peeps just partying and getting drunk

yeah... and considering im on a tight budget as it is i have to try and be as smart as i can with my money. Regardless of what happens, my brother, friend and I will end up having a good time. There are a lot of things to do, and if we to the clubs less then anticipated then so be it. Im assuming it will be so busy that weekend as it is, all the places will be busy and we will have a great time regardless.

im planning on getting the palms wristbands though. i think that is one way to go.

The palms wristbands work. Ive used them myself on LDW.

Im going over LDW as well and think I will hit up palms with wristbands on one of the nights. I want to get bottle service at tryst on the sat but if its going to be two bottles between the three of us dunno if i could afford that!

haha yeah especially with the holiday surcharge added on per bottle. Hopefully they still do 2 bottle mins instead of 3 for the holiday at most places too

As someone who went last LDW with a bunch of guys, all of whom were on a budget, here's my advice:

First, the Palms wristbands are a fave here, so obviously go with those one night.

Second, contact the hosts, explain your situation, and see what it would take to just get entry if you show up early enough (roughly 10 PM); for most of the good (but not XS-level) clubs, it should be under $50/person. Obviously, tip the guy beyond that.

Third, I'm a huge fan of Tao personally. The whole "eat there and get into the club" thing really does work. Book reservations for dinner, get your hands stamped, and re-enter whenever you feel like it. Totally worth it.

There are some vets going during LDW, but after May invasion we realized things are so much easier when its a non-holiday weekend as far as hook ups etc.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit. I regret missing the AOD invasion and will most likely join for the next big one.

It's just that my college buddies are all scattered throughout the country and meeting in a central location is a lot easier on long weekends when people don't have to take days off work.

I'm definitely not looking forward to trying to get us into clubs that weekend.

Should i tell them that im planning on coming back to the club and get my hand stamped or just get it stamped and not inform them of that? also, if i get my hand stamped will there still be any type of cover charge or anything like that?

I told our hostess that we were going back to our rooms "to change" (ie drink our body weights in shots), so we got wristbands, I believe, and just came back at 11 PM. This was Friday night of LDW, so it was kinda awesome being in a group of seven guys and just waltzing past the line full of hot girls.
