Well just think $100 per 8 people would be how much cover would be. $1000 is all spent towards drinks. So yes

Where did you get the quote? I'm trying to get something for this Sunday. I called the number on Rehab's website and kept on getting connected to VIP hosts who don't answer their phone and with full voice mail.

Not exactly sure but i'm assuming it's to for sure reserve your daybed/cabana or whatever. Like when you call a host it's just by word reservation but when you put a deposit down or give them a credit card it's for sure for sure your coming for that daybed/cabana...

I actually have never been required a CC auth before. If anything I was asked to put down a CC for my F&B min to make things easier.

From the REHAB Credit Card Agreement:

RESERVATION AGREEMENT:
(I. PURCHASE AGREEMENT) I, the undersigned (hereinafter referred to as Guest), agree to purchase food and beverage services of a minimum value listed above or to pay the remaining balance if my food and beverage purchases do not meet the minimum (“Food and Beverage Minimum”) on the date listed above (“Date of Reservation”). This amount will be pre-authorized on the credit card listed above upon execution of this agreement. In the event that the amount cannot be pre-authorized, Hard Rock Beach Club reserves the right to cancel the reservation without notice. A gratuity of 22% will be added to at the time the service bill is closed. (II. PURCHASE ACCEPTANCE) Guest agrees to and understands that appearance and seating at the designated reserved area at the venue constitutes acceptance of the purchase, and that Guest is fully liable for the full amount of the Food and Beverage Minimum. (III. PROPER IDENTIFICATION) Guest understands that all guests at Hard Rock Beach Club must be age 21 or older with proper government issued photo-identification for entry. Acceptable forms of identification are valid and unexpired: driver’s license, state issued photo ID card, military ID card, or passport. (IV. CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW POLICY) Guest agrees to pay a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the Food and Beverage Minimum if Guest cancels the reservation within 24 hours of the Date of Reservation. Additionally if Guest fails to appear at the venue within 30 minutes of the Check-in Time, Hard Rock Beach Club reserves the right to consider the reservation as a “No-Show” and cancel the reservation. In the event this occurs Guest agrees to pay a No-Show fee equal to 50% of the Food and Beverage Minimum. (V. DRESS CODE) Guest agrees to adhere to the Dress Code of Hard Rock Beach Club; Guest understands and agrees that swimwear is required for entry. No jeans, sweatpants, or athletic wear is permitted. Any guests who do not meet the requirements of the dress code will not be permitted entry. Failure to enter the venue due to Dress Code violation will constitute a “No-Show” and is subject to cancellation fee as detailed in section IV. (VI. RULES OF CONDUCT) Guest understands and agrees to abide by the rules of conduct for the venue. Aggressive, violent, or harassing behavior will not be tolerated. No nudity or sexual behavior is permitted anywhere at any time. Guest may be removed from the venue for failure to comply with the rules of conduct. In the event Guest is removed from the venue, Guest agrees to be held liable for the full value of the Food and Beverage Minimum. (VII. MISCELLANEOUS) Hard Rock Hotel and Casino reserves the right to refuse entry to guests for any reason, or to cancel a reservation providing Guest with advance notice. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will not be held liable for venue closures for any reason.

so pretty much it's a guarantee for reserving your spot for good so another host can't just take it if their party shows up earlier i'm assuming if i read that correctly.
