    I know i know....its nothing to do with Vegas but i need some help in finding a cool place to stay in LA. We are looking round the West Hollywood area. Has anyone stayed at The Standard If anyone can help that would be great. If you tell me to go ask this on an LA forum thatmis also fine!!

    i was in one of their suites last weekend for a friends birthday... i wouldn't recommend it. it's an okay hotel but they make it weird to the point where your not gonna really be comfy staying there unless all your gonna do is pass out drunk on the bed every night.

        Hey,
        I was staying in the Culver City area with Aria, which was very handy. If you can get a place near Santa Monica that would be good, as it's handy for the beach, nice shops/promonade and lots of bars. I didn't got to any clubs I'm afraid, but they seem pretty spread out. The city is sooo huge! I'd save clubbing for Vegas and do a couple of bar crawls in LA
